I have been a patient of Dr. MacGregor for quite a few years now, and until the past year or two he was always available, and directly involved with my care. I have very severe psoriasis, and I respected Dr. MacGregor as a dedicated professional. He is up on the latest therapies, and is willing to try new things. I used to admire Dr. MacGregor as a consummate physician!

However, I have not seen Dr. MacGregor in well over a year. He has apparently become unconcerned, or too busy, to actually personally monitor my condition. His office staff is dismissive, and refuses to make an appointment to see him personally. Im baffled.

I have to obtain an injectable medication (which is immune suppressive, and can have quite serious side effects) from an off-site pharmacy. The medication is then sent to the Doctor's office (not to me). The staff responsible for coordinating with the pharmacy consistently do not follow-up, or follow through, with the pharmacy, meaning that my medication, and my TREATMENT, is always delayed. These delays lead to an exacerbated condition, i.e. scaly, bleeding, and very painful plaques. The staff often lie to me about the status of their communication with the pharmacy, and when my medication will be available, and this is truly inexcusable. Whether Dr. MacGregor is aware of this, or not, I dont know because he never sees me. I think this is a serious dereliction of duty, and a repudiation of his oath. This disinterest, and neglect of care by Dr. MacGregor is a mystery to me. He is either directly responsible, or is being deceived by his staff, to whom he has given complete control.

I have seen Doctor MacGregor for a number of treatments including removing moles and rosacea. He is really great. He takes the time to explain the procedure, any short term side effects and how best to treat them. I would highly recommend him to any friend.

28-29Jul08: I called twice and left messages on the answering machine (because no one answered the phone) and asked for a return phone call to set up an appointment. No one called. I called again and the office hung up, without answering, and put the phone back on the answering machine. This is TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! Until or unless Dr. MacGregor gets his office staff to act more professional, AVOID this doctor. The only impression I have is: WHAT A JERK!

Dr. MacGregor treated my annoying lines between my eyebrows with a set of Botox injections, and they worked AMAZINGLY well. The lines disappeared without any of the negative effects some patients experience. Now I'll have to budget this treatment in every 6 months. I'm a huge fan!

I am pretty sure that the name of this practice has changed, but it is still in the same location with the same contact information and doctors. Dr. David MacGregor is recommended. He is professional, effective and kind. AND he doesn't make you wait forever before he sees you.

PROS: professional, knowledgable, fast
CONS:
