Jay L. Schlanger, OD

I was a patient there for many years but unfortunately this time it did not work out. I spent top dollar on frames that still hurt with lenses that aren't sharply focused. He would not help me resolve this/make it right/provide a refund. I never do online reviews but this really bothers me. If you can go to someone else, I would. It was partly my fault in the sense that I didn't get the terms of the agreement in writing beforehand. I was in a bit of a hurry and trusted him after so many years. Buyer beware, and so it goes.

Yesterday morning, I visited Dr. Schlanger's office for the first time, and had such a great experience, that I felt I want to share with everyone.

All the staff members at this office were very welcoming and accommodating, from the first moment I walked in.

I then met Dr. Schlanger, who greeted me kindly. The attentive and detailed service that I received from Dr. Schlanger was truly impressive. He explained details to me about my eye exam and his state-of-the-art equipment, that no other optometrist ever had before. My visit was not only very accommodating, but it was also very informative. He treated me with so much care and respect, as though I was one of his own family members.

I will definitely go back to his office whenever I need any kind of optometric care and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an optometrist.

The staff is very friendly and Dr. Schlanger is very passionate about the health of your eyes. I had the standard eye test and Dr. Schlanger has a machine that takes a picture of each eye to make sure they are healthy. He gave me a few sample of new contacts to try.

My name is Cecilia Salvador and both myself and my husband Chris Hoxworth were first time patients of Dr. Schlanger. We had a terrific experience!!! Dr. Schlanger is kind, compassionate, and very thorough. He made us feel as though we were his only two patients. Dr. Schlanger is completely up-to-date in knowledge and examined both of our eyes in ways no other optometrist had done before with his state-of-the-art, most modern eqiupment available. Both my husband and I have already highly recommended Dr. Schlanger to all our family and friends and we look forward to returning for our annual eye examinations!!!
