WeI have had excellent care by dr. Michael Kim for 16years- he is always caring and friendly.

Dr. Kim has been our dentist for years. He is very good.

ok really people You have an HMO!!!!! it is not insurance but a discount plan...as far as Needing a deep cleaning, if it is diagnosed you need it. what do you mean you turned to down and wanted a regular cleaning? seriously?!?!?!/ what makes you think you can diagnose your condition argggg get real insurance so you can get what you need done and not complain!!!! from a happy ppo patient

Dr Kim was very clear in explaining all my options. Because I had not seen the dentist for many years and had many issues I knew I had to get resolved, he prioritized my needs in a way I could get my teeth fixed without being overburdened financially. He gave me many options which made me feel very comfortable. Unlike all the other offices I went to where all they did was try and sell me the most expensive treatlment. I do have to say, that my experience with all the work I have had so far, has been beyond my expectations. My teeth look and feel like new. The wonderful thing about his office is that no matter what dental work I need done, I do not have to go elsewhere and see a specialist. There are all the specialists there to perform the treatment...therefore saving me time so that I do not have to take extra time off work.

went to Valencia dental last week for a cleaning appointment.
very nervous at first, most office have that scary vibe to them. their hygenist Zareh was very awesome!!!!! now i really like getting my teeth cleaned. going to pasadena next week to see their wisdom teeth doctor.

the office is very clean with a very professional staff...the staff is very helpful in explaining the insurance benefits...all the doctors have been in practice for many years and give many options to the patient's needs...the great thing about this office is that they have all the dental specialists on staff.....therefore making it very convenient so that extra time does not need to be taken off work to be referred to a specialist at a different location....making the care very efficeint and comprehensive

Incident = Valencia Dental tried to sell me the usual dental rip off ""a deep cleaning""
for $340 Dollars, I declined and said I wanted a regular cleaning that my Insurance co. said my co-pay was $22. Dr.Kim of Valencia Dental on Valencia blvd in Valencia Calif. Told me either I pay the $340 cleaning or no cleaning at all. I thought it is my right to refuse medical treatment which would have included shots and scraping below my gums. No way did I want that.
The public should be aware of this dental rip off trying to run up a bill.
The greed of some doctors are so shameful. This Dr.s idea of a check-up was to take x-rays and look in my mouth for 2 sec. not even probing or taking a good look. I was so shocked to have a Dr. tell me pay him $340 or just forget a cleaning on my first check up with this office. So beware of these rip off artists. Julia
Damage Resulting = So I'm not sure if I have cavities or not. Now I have to go through the entire process with another dental office. What a pain, and more money for me to spend. In my view a rip off.

Dr. Kim has too many patients! He is always rushed and we often wait at least an hour just to be seen. It is very difficult to find a good HMO dentist in Santa Clarita but I would not settle for Dr. Kim.
