Joe Jardino and Salon 401 consistently provide superior cuts, color & styling service...the fact that I've been a customer there for 15+ years confirms that. I've recommended over 10 friends and at least 7 of them still go there--a recommendation in itself.
The best recommendtion I can give are the frequent compliments I get on my style but particularly my color/highlights (from both men & women!). Joe is innovative and fresh and knows what he's doing. He is, however, a perfectionist, so be prepared to sit in the chair until he gets it *just* right.
PROS: Superior technically & creatively
CONS: Overall time there can be longer than other salons
A great find on South Lake (near Sharkey's) that has delicious bread and 2 refridgerator sections of baked goods that will make you salivate. Their sandwich selections, both hot & cold, use their fresh breads, crisp vegetables, tasty cheeses and good meats. Try the hot Chicken/Pesto panini with melted swiss. Yum! For the sweet tooth I recommend the Chocolate Almond croissant--to die for! (I mistakenly ordered that instead of the plain choco croissant and will never return to the plain one.)
"Are these people for real?!" That's what you'll ask when you see the technician drive up in a sharp looking truck, knock on the door in a neat and clean uniform, different from the typical mechanic's look, as they put booties on their shoes to protect your floors and then the clean-up following their work. They truly exceeded my expectations of what a plumber could be. A little pricier than others around but value for the money spent, thats for sure!
