I hear all kinds of gossip about this place. When I finally went I was surprised. The staff were down to earth (false rumor #1), it was clean (false rumor #2), the food was great (false rumor #3) and there was no parking for under $10 (only true rumor). I say --- enjoy. The Pantry has been arround Los Angeles forever and in the time they perfected the meatloaf, which I enjoyed.
This is the legendary Improv. Everyone in comedy plays this place. The best shows are Thursday - Saturday nights, but sometime depanding on who is in towm a really big name will come in and perform a show or two.
Much small in real life. They also serve dinner.
The best club in LA right now. Nothing is better. This place is looks and feels like it belongs in the New York club sceen, but it is here in LA. No clue about the hotel, but I recommend the club.
Hanger 18 has the tallest indoor routes of any Socal indoor gym I know. Reasonable entry price. Can be too crowded on weekends. The bouldering area is really good. The staff redo it frequently. I am very impressed with Hanger 18.
Almost no seating, very limited food menu. However, everthing is really good. The drink selection is great. The coffee is my favorite in the area.
Amazing steak. You pay for it. My advice is to spend the extra $10 per entre and go here instead of Hustons. The food is really that much better.
Fantastic steak and fish meals. Fun events. Very cool interior - exposed brick and ceilings. The menu is small, but everything is good. I would compare it to the Ivy's menu, but 1/2 the price and the customers are real people.
Very cool place. Great hang out. Music is loud enough to enjoy, but soft enough to talk with friends. Drinks of course are great. There are comfortable seating areas.
