Well, this is definitely the place to go if you're looking for a wedding dress. My fiance and I have visited this store a few times now trying on various dresses for our upcoming wedding. The staff was pretty friendly and the dress selection seemed ample. Some of the prices are pretty expensive, but they have a good amount of dresses around $300 or so. We found that they really try to get you to buy other stuff while you're there, so watch out for that if it's not in your budget. The bridesmaid dresses look better in the catalogs than they did in person. The jewelry was pricey. They have comfortable couches for the guys to lounge on while the ladies are trying on the dresses. It's not a bad place to hit up if you're shopping for a wedding dress.
Talk about a great place to bring your dogs and cats! Bark Avenue is a new place in downtown L.A. to bring your pets for boarding, grooming, supplies, etc. The staff there is very friendly and attentive. The doggy daycare is designed with the pets in mind with a play pen and handlers ready to give them attention. I think that they even have a doggy pick up service if you want to have your dog picked up from your home to be groomed, etc. They really try to make things convenient for the client. I totally recommend Bark Avenue for all of your dog and cat needs.
Have you ever wanted to make your backyard into a garden sanctuary? Or have you ever wanted to achieve that Zen feeling? Then, the Garden Temple is the place to go. They have so many different ideas for what you can do with fountains, rock figurines, and pottery. There's definitely a huge Asian influence in decor and the entire backside of the building is filled with fountain ideas. They have both indoor and outdoor decor at this store. The owners of the store were very friendly and accomodating. I can only imagine how neat their home must look just based by the products at their store. I totally recommend this store if you have the funds and the time to renovate your backyard and/or home.
We love this neighborhood cafe! We always stop here for a tasty pastry and coffee before going to shows at the nearby Two Roads theatre just a few doors down Tujunga. The atmosphere here is quaint and friendly. You feel like there's a lot of regulars that go there to relax, chat with friends, and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. The baked goods there are always in abundance ranging from chocolate decadence cake to lemon cake. The also have cookies, muffins, etc. They're entree menu isn't bad either. I totally recommend this place for the atmosphere and the coffee. The only downfall is how crowded it can get on the weekends.
