ok. this place is awesome. i am so glad san diego is lucky to have a summer fair of this calibre every year. it's got remnants of the original county fairs with all of the contests you can enter. entry fees are very reasonable, and the prizes are even better. and of course, you have to go for fair food. delcious falaffel!!! they also have many rides as well. go on a tuesday for their 20 buck wristband to go on all the rides you want all day.
man, i cannot tell you how much fun rowboating is. miramar lake offers rowboating, kayaking, and paddleboating for aquatic recreation. you can rent by the hour or have it for half a day or a whole day. the prices are pretty reasonable. if you take a whole bunch of friends with you, splitting the price will make it very cheap for every person (like three bucks cheap).
pazzo's has always been somewhat of an epicenter of food in the scripps ranch area ever since it opened. the food is fresh and always delicious. sometimes they are slow, especially during the hours they are really busy (dinnertime), but it is only because they are preparing food the old-fashioned way.
this place is beyond awesome. what other burger joint can you have a burger anyway you want it (seriously, any way you can think of...forget the fast food places). the environment is awesome with the retro memorabilia, service great, and awesome desserts. go here, go here now.
this place is terrible. of the three times i went there, i was treated as just another client of the client conveyor belt. everything was so mechanized, and i felt they all did a rush job. everytime i've been there, they've roughly damaged a cuticle or two. don't go here.
how cool is it to start off your visit to a retrospect doughnut shop by watching how they're actually made? and even sometimes, they'll give you a free one, one that just came off of the conveyor belt. way cool. fairly wide selection, completely delicious...makes you forget how unhealthy they are for you.
i really don't want to embarass the chuck e. cheese corporation by completely bashing their locale of "family fun." first off, the place has terrible ventilation. secondly, money gets swiped from parents faster than the speed of light. thirdly, can you say GERMS? this place is a breeding factory for germs. no thank you.
first off, i have to say that they have THE BEST SHEPARD'S PIE EVER. seriously, it is the most delicious thing i haven't ever eaten. anyway, their stuff is awesome. better for the health nuts. prices are reasonable but the nearest one is all the way over in carmel mountain. no good.
where to start with their food? it's delicious beyond belief. seriously, it's fresh, top quality, and above all, tasty. what more could you want? the only downside is that their prices seem to be a little on the expensive side-- kind of tough on a student budget. not cool.
sure, they have the parts for your toyota car. but unfortunately, they have exorbitant prices. yuck. the people here are friendly, and they don't pressure you into anything since their associates don't work on commission. good selection. just plain cool. but don't get your car fixed here.
