The prices are actually pretty good so this is a great place to refurnish any room in your home.
Ramsey Galleria
The Ramsey Galleria (the name sounds more like a mall to me) is a great gift shop. They have so many beautiful items to choose from including many collectible type items. They have some gorgeous vases as well as some lovely collector plates that would look stunning in a china cabinet. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you've got decisions to make! Definitely worth a trip here during the hectic Christmas season. You're sure to knock a few gifts off your list.
Treasure Island Incorporated
There are so many beautiful things to be found at Treasure Island year round. During the summer months you'll find an extensive collection of patio furniture that will make any backyard shine! During the winter months they've got the most beautiful selection of Christmas trees, lights and decorations available. So many of the items you won't find in any other store. They also have a year round selection of craft supplies.
St Corner News
This magazine store is really chock full of all sorts of magazines and newspapers that you would expect to find mainly in a big city. In fact it reminds me of many of the newsstands in NYC. They not only have magazines and papers avaialble but lots of snacks and drinks as well as some gift items. It's a great place to stop before having your lunch at the Palisades Center Mall.
Home & Store News
This is such a fun local paper. Not all high and mighty like the other local papers. This one specializes in publishing truly local news. They tell you what happened recently in your community and more importantly they list lots of upcoming events that you can bring your family to. They also have lots of great local classifieds - everything from help wanteds and yard sales to handymen. This is a great way to keep up to date on what's going on in your own back yard!
Glowing Candle
The selection of candles is really nothing to write home about at Glowing Candle. They have the usual candles you'd expect but nothing new or exciting. Their prices are a bit high and the staff isn't all that helpful. You'd be much better off finding another candle store to shop at during the busy Christmas season. There are plenty of others to choose from and many of them are running great special deals at this time of year!
United Hospice of Rockland
Never will you find a more caring group of people than at United Hospice of Rockland. It takes a special type of person to work with the terminally ill and it really shows with the group assembled here. At one of the most difficult times in a persons life, hospice is there to help you make decisions you hoped you would never have to make and help you think about things you hoped you would never need to. They are available to you 24 hours a day and will help you even after your family member is gone with counseling services.
Nine West Outlet
You'll find some really beautiful shoes and boots at Nine West. They not only have the classic styles but also some funky new ones as well. The prices are a bit steep but the shoes are very well made so you'll get your money's worth. The staff is helpful and if one shoe just doesn't seem to be working for you they'll suggest a similar style that may fit you just a bit better. It gets crazy here on the weekends, but so does just about every other store at the Palisades Mall!
Birkenstock
Buying a Birkenstock is not an inexpensive venture. They are quite costly no matter which style you choose. But you will never find a more comfortable pair of shoes. At Steppin Birkenstock Shoes the staff knows this isn't a purchase to be taken likely and they will take their time with you showing you all of the various styles and explain the benefits of each. You won't feel rushed into making your choice and you will be certainly glad you made the trip here. (You're feet certainly will be too.)
Finish Line Incorporated
Finish Line has a great variety of athletic wear. You can find items for the serious sportsman or even for the occasional athlete. They also have accessories and this is a great place to pick up a gift for the sports enthusiast on your list. The staff is very helpful and their prices are very good. Keep an eye out for their sales and clearance displays - great deals can be found there!
