I don't think there's another store in the area that offers as much of a selection as Globe Shoes does. They have an amazing variety of styles and sizes. This is a great place to shop if you have a hard to fit foot. They have extended sizes in really nice styles. Their prices aren't bad and the service is really good. It can get a bit crowded on a Saturday so prepare yourself.
This is a much nicer Dollar General than the Pearl RIver store. The staff is actually helpful and the store doesn't resemble a factory. Their prices are very good and they do accept coupons which can lead to some very good deals. Their shelves are well stocked and the lines generally aren't bad. I would recommend a visit to this store whenever you have a chance.
I hope you have some extra time on your hands if you plan on shopping at Sears. I went to buy an air condition there recently and it took about a half hour to finally get my purchase completed. No, I didn't have a hard time making up my mind. The time was spent trying to find someone willing to help you with the purchase. Apparently there isn't big money in air conditioners for the salesmen so they avoid you like the plague when they hear that's what you need help with. They will refer you to anybody else they can possibly think of. Very frustrating to say the least.
They do live up to the promise in their name of being a 1 Hour Photo shop. Drop your film off and head over to ShopRite to do some grocery shopping, then head into the liquor store to pick up some wine for tonights dinner. When you're done, so are your photos. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the prints is good. The staff is friendly and they're conveniently located.
The Shop Rite of Pearl River Liquor Store is very well stocked with all sorts of libations. They run weekly sales (check the Our Town for a listing of them) and have weekly coupons as well. The lines can get a bit long during busy times and the lottery sales can definitely clog things up as well. They're located just down the road from ShopRite - in the adjacent parking lot. They used to be a part of the store itself but expanded a few years back to a store of their own.
What would you expect from a store in Soho other than funky - well you'll find it here. The Guggenheim Museum Soho Gift Shop has so many neat items - any one of which would make a great gift - especially for a young teen in your family. They will get them to think about art but without pushing it too hard. They have a lot of items that will snazzy up any room and the prices aren't completely outrageous (kinda outrageous though.)
This isn't your typical kitschy museum gift shop. The Ellis Island Museum Gift Shop actually has items of quality that directly connect to Ellis Island. You're sure to find some great treasures to bring home to remember your trip (even if you're a die hard New Yorker) and some to share your trip with others. What would a visit to a gift shop be without a purchase of some post cards. They have some truly stunning ones here!
You can get your party off to a great start by shopping at Party City. They have everything you need. They have decorative items to help you with any theme you may have dreamt up. They have basic party supplies such as plates, cups, forks, napkins etc that every party needs. They also have a good supply of items that can be used as party favors, after all, what's a party without some great party favors???
This really is a great place to shop for electronics. They have a full line of all sorts of great products, the prices are reasonable, their sales are great and the staff is helpful. You couldn't ask for much more. Be prepared to start dreaming of winning a million dollars if you spend too much time browsing here because there are so many items you'll decide you just must have but unfortunately unless you're independently wealthy, you won't be able to afford them all!
Don't come to Lowes if you're looking for one-on-one assistance because you're not likely to find that here. Actually finding someone who works here is a challenge in itself. They have a full line of home improvement products and home accents and the prices are very good. As long as you know what you're looking for - this is the place to shop. If you need any help at all, your local hardware store is a much better bet. The prices may be a bit higher but it will save you lots of time spent roaming the aisles here.
