I had a countertop resurfaced. This company did quick work. Brian came and first corrected all the cracks in my old countertop. Then spent the rest of the day putting the special coating on it to change the appearance. It was cured in 24 hours. There was a slight blemish in the finished product, but a discount was given. Much cheaper than replacing. They have many different finishes to choose from including some granite type finishes.
I called Al's for tree service and they came out the next day to give me a quote. Then we scheduled the service. The workers were on time and came to the door to make sure they were cutting down the correct trees. They cut down a HUGE pinetree and ground the stump down in 30 minutes. They cleaned up the mess and hauled it away. I was amazed at how fast they accomplished it!
PROS: Reputable and reliable
We took a wool hat in to have it cleaned. It was supposed to be dry cleaned and they washed it. It was ruined. When I went back they wouldn't admit that it had been washed even though the hat had shrunk by 2 sizes. I would not recommend this company. The staff was nice, but wouldn't admit their mistake. The store itself is well kept, but that doens't count for much if you can't get your dry cleaning done properly.
This dry cleaner has a drive through that gets you in and out quickly. They come to the car and pick your clothes up from you, or you can drop them off in the dropoff bin. A good thing in Arizona! You can always walk inside to drop off your clothing, but the drop off area inside is a bit cramped if there are more than 2 or 3 people in there at a time. Very professional work and reasonable prices.
These guys knew my vacuum problem as soon as I explained it on the phone. I Went in and picked up the part that needed to be replaced. The salesperson even explained how to avoid the same problem from recurring. The store is a bit cramped with vacuums but it was very clean. They stock a wide variety of parts for many different brands and models.
I went to get my daughter fitted for a wheelchair and they were very knowledgeable. They knew the exact kind that would be right for her. It was a very quick procedure. They put her in the wheelchair and took measurements of where she would be sitting. The store is a bit run down. It also took a while to be seen, but there were quite a few people ahead of me. They also rent equipment and take insurance.
They have newsstands with free papers all over the Phoenix area. You can find the papers in kiosks at phoenix area grocery stores, libraries and stores that cater to hispanics. The paper is thin, but useful. It is published once per week. It is written in spanish and it is very inexpensive to advertise in. There is a classified section and also sports. The main section deals with phoenix area current events.
This newspaper is a free publication. It is distributed once a week. They have stands at many grocery stores, convenience stores and even by bus stops.. The paper is geared toward hispanics and is written completely in spanish. There is a classified section, sports section and "scene" section in addition to the the main section of the paper which contains current events.
I've been getting the newspaper delivered for years and have not had many problems. I enjoy the daily puzzles and especially like the new Soduku. A very fair paper! Reasonable home delivery rates.
This Alarm company has had many problems. Everytime I had a problem with service they gave me the run around. As soon as my contract was up, I cancelled service. They have had financial problems and I wouldn't recommend them for your alarm service. They are decent when it comes to the equipment installation. Sometimes it takes awhile to get someone out for repairs. They are very affordable, but you get what you pay for!
