This place is great if you love kabobs. They are attached to a small international grocery store as well, where you can find anything! From henna, to nuts, to middle eastern sweets and vegetables. Great place!
This Kroger is functional, at best. However, at 10:30 every night, they do their inventory shift, so the registers lock down for 15 minutes. Very frustrating if you are in line for just one or two things!
Stein Mart is one of those places that if they had great finds more often, it would be a wonderful place to shop. Unfortunately, most of the clothes are geared towards older, Atlanta-socialite types who love to wear fuschia, bright turquoise and lime green together. All the time!
It's like watching a show under the stars. The Fox is a true Atlanta landmark. It's a smaller venue, so every seat in the house is a good one. I met Chris Isaak there a few years ago!
If you are looking for something usually hard-to-find, chances are you'll find it at Tower. If they don't have it, they will usually order it for you and call you within a week when it arrives.
How great is it to know that no matter what health issue you may be facing, there is a one-stop shop where you can see someone usually same-day.
There are Kaiser locations all over Atlanta, and each I've been to is friendly and fast!
I had the pleasure of visiting this salon for the first time last week. It's very large and open, and the staff is extremely knowledgable. They work hard to make sure you look good!
Garden Ridge has a lot of good things going for it. #1 - it's huge! You can usually find anything you are looking for. #2 - there's more than just craft supplies, there are home decor items and technical books, etc. If you go often, you can get some great deals.
BAR is probably one of my least favorite places to go. If you like having beer spilled on you, you want to be grabbed by random strangers when you walk to the bathroom, and you enjoy mild sexual harrassment,... definitely go. Otherwise, there are plenty more female-friendly places in the city.
Borders is a great place to catch up on magazine reading, as well as meet people or just people watch. They have plenty of couches and a nice little cafe. Look for special events as well!
