What was once a catering truck outside a local bar is now a small, but delicious spot for some of the best carne asada burritos you'll find North of the border. The food is fresh, filling, and made fast. For the more adventurous, you'll find tacos and burritos made of beef brains, tripe, and other meats.
The salsa is simple, but delicious. Acosta Tacos beats many of the so-called freshMex restaurants poppoing up in mini malls. For the price, they can't be beat.
PROS: Great Food, Great Price
CONS: Surrounding neighborhood pretty rundown
A great way to get your "5 A Day" of vegetables. Big Wok features a variety of meat choices along with a huge display of vegetables to let you devise your own creation. Add a little sauce, as mild or spicy as you like, and hand it all over to the the cook who quickly prepares your meal on a giant wok as you wait, plate in hand.
Back at the table, steaming bowls of rice are delivered to complete your meal. Big Wok is an all you can eat restaurant, and a great place to bring the kids, especially if they're picky because they can create their own meals. Some malls have similar restaurants in their food courts, but we've been going to Big Wok for years and plan to continue.
PROS: Great food, good price
CONS: Very busy at weekday lunch hours & weekends
Trilogy Spa is a terrific place to reward yourself or someone special. The moment you step into this business complex suite, you know you have the outer world outside.

You never feel rushed through your services because of other appointments after yours. Products feature beautiful scents of tropical plants and flowers
After a visit to Trilogy you'll re-enter the outside world with a sense of calm and relaxation, and you'll smell wonderful!
PROS: Terrific Treatments
CONS: a little pricey
Picanha has a unique style with Brazilian gaucho/waiters delivering all you can eat skewered meats tableside. You may come in for the novelty, but you'll be back because of the food. A large salad and side dish buffet can be a meal in itself, especially if you're vegetarian. For meat eaters, this place is close to paradise - everything from the house Brazilian beef to sizzling cubes of pork in a parmesan crust.
There is also a full bar.
The atmosphere is fun and kid-friendly. Service is friendly and fast. Expect a bit of a wait on weekends, but it's worth it.
PROS: Great food, unique atmosphere
This store which features nice home furnishings at good prices fails miserably in the area of customer service. After spending more than $1000 in the store, they delivered damaged goods, then required me to rent a moving truck to return the items to the store to prove that they were damaged. I also had to eventually make three separate trips to pick up the replacement items in my own personal vehicle, with not even an offer of reimbursement from the store. The store's owner who I dealt with in person pretended to be just a store associate with no control over resolving customer satisfaction issues. I later found out he was a co-owner.
As a result, I will never purchase anything from this store again, and will recommend others to be very cautious. A second store location with the same owners is in Oxnard, CA.
PROS: Nice contemporary furnishings, good prices
CONS: Terrible customer service, poor management
