This store is perfect if you're looking to buy Colorado items for relatives. Everything in this store is related to our beautiful state. If you want a Colorado keychain, this is your place. Need a puzzle of the state of Colorado? It's here. There are lots of fun and campy little treasures to buy for your non-Colorado friends and family. Nothing is too expensive and the store owner is a friendly man who is happy to help you find anything you are looking for. Happy hunting!
This is a fairly standard grocery store. I would give it a 3.5 overall. The aisles are still a bit narrow but the recent construction has opened up the overall floor plan. Safeway strives to offer fresh produce and a wide variety of deli options. The produce is all right - the organic stores are usually better but the price is slightly higher. The deli normally has a good variety of hot and fresh foods including soups, sandwiches and other deli fare (roasted chicken, pasta salads, etc).
The service can be hit or miss - some days you will encounter friendly and cordial cashiers. Other days the workers are not talkative nor interactive.
The location of the store is about average as well; it could be much better with more parking. I'm not sure how the store could provide more parking spaces. Be forewarned that on busy days you may have to park on a nearby street or drive around the parking lot several times before finding an open stall.
It is a good store and is about as good as Safeway gets. It serves the purpose for a typical grocery store; if you need something special though, I would look elsewhere.
This store is the usual offerings from Walgreens but the location is convenient for any downtowner without a car. Located on the 16th Street Mall, it is easily accessible for all. The store itself doesn't set itself apart from the pack - the aisles are narrow and crowded, the service is second-rate and the selection is average.
But if you need a typical household item and can't get to Target or K-mart and you're close to the 16th Street Mall, this is the place to go.
This little store is a newcomer to the thrift shop market. Located on the corner of 13th and Marion streets, it is a hidden gem. The store offers an assortment of household items and clothes - all are gently used and quite nice. The one owner I met was very friendly and accomodating. They offer a lot of different goods, many of which are on consignment so the consigner is open to price negotiations.
This is a definite stop for anyone who likes thrift shops - check it out.
This theatre is amazing. It is one of the most beautifully kept in the area. The service is terrific - jovial and engaging. The menu selection is better than the average big moviehouse. The seating is comfortable and cozy. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date and I highly recommend it. It is a landmark and a must-visit while in the Milwaukee area. It's entertaining at its finest.
The theatre itself is large and imposing; I often feel that I can get lost inside its multiple screening rooms on two separate levels. The customer service can be hit or miss; I have had upbeat conversations with people behind the concession stands only to be rudely cut off in mid-sentence by the ticket-taker. The concessions are pricey (as our most in theatres today) but the selection is fair. The seating is ample and spacious, rarely do I feel crowded or too close to my fellow movie-goer. Overall, it's a pleasant experience for a big movie theatre.
K-mart isn't known for their exceptional variety of stock and this K-mart holds true to form. The store itself is decent as the aisles are wide and easy to maneuveur through. The clerks and other staff members are generally courtesy but not exceptionally so. I have had difficulty finding items however and have found their inventory to be lacking. In particular was their DVD/movie selection, they did not have a lot of new movies available and I had to go to Target for some of my purchases. The store isn't bad but it isn't exceptionally good either. A larger inventory would be beneficial and would put this K-mart on target with Target.
The Paramount is a lovely venue for concerts, comedians and other entertainers. The building itself is a remnant from days gone by when theatres were ornate and opulent. The chairs are on the small side and are quite close together but these are also reminders of past eras. The staff is courteous and helpful and the overall experience is a pleasant and inviting one. It's definitely a place to visit in Denver.
This is one of the best bookstores I've ever stepped foot in! I am an avid reader and this was a slice of heaven on Earth. They have an amazing selection - there is even a rare book room. The customer service is wonderful, the staff is knowledgable and friendly. I had a wonderful experience at Powell's and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Portland area.
Although I have others rave about this video store, my one experience there was horrible. I stood in line for over 15 minutes to be greeted by a rude cashier at the end of my wait. There seems to be a terrific selection of videos at reasonable rental prices however I was not allowed to rent any of the videos because I do not have a Qwest phone line. The service was rude and inexcusable; I will not rent videos from there. I'd rather give my money to the Blockbuster chain than support a company that treats its customers so rudely.
