For quite a lot of money the nice people at Glamour Shots, located in the Castleton Square Mall, will be happy to take you or your child and dress you up in outfits available in the store and do your hair and make-up for a photo shoot during which they will take pictures that look nothing like you. Then you can purchase these pictures for an additional large sum of money.
This studio is better suited for a special occasion portrait. Go elsewhere to capture your child's everyday expressions.
The prices here are pretty standard and they do not offer a student discount, but the theatres are almost never sold out and the staff, and the theatre are very child friendly.
During the summer every Tuesday and Saturday morning this theatre offers a children's movie for free. The movies are releases that are already available on video but the experience is still exciting for small children. Each child receives a small "goodie" bag at the end of show full of small treats to take home.
Most nail salons are pretty standard, but this one falls short of even "adequate." The wait is always very long even for a simple manicure and it seems as though they do not have enough staff. At least one of the pedicure chairs is always broken and the appointments always seem rushed. The prices are average, but the service is terrible.
Although Great Clips is considered a discount hair "salon" there is no excuse for the incompetence shown by their employees. It costs over twenty dollars to simply have your hair wet down with a spray bottle filled with water and trimmed. This is meant to be a discount? Additionally, they will not blow dry your hair unless you are willing to pay an extra fee, which means that you are faced with a difficult decision: should you risk leaving without knowing what your hair looks like dry? Or should you allow them to charge you for a service that should be included in the price of the haircut? Tough choice. Just don't go, that's my suggestion.
Aveda is expensive but do not let the prices turn you off! The products they offer may be available for less elsewhere but you will not even come close to matching the quality found at Aveda.
All the products are natural, and the salespeople are terrific and patient and willing to spend as much time as it takes helping you find what you need. You will leave the store incredibly happy, I guarantee it!
Unlike many locations of this store when a sale is advertised this location actually has the items in stock, in every size. The selection is diverse and the prices are always affordable no matter what time of year you choose to visit, although visiting Old Navy at, or towards the end of a clothing season can mean phenomenal deals for you.
The staff at this location is particularly friendly, never making you feel rushed and always happy to help you find what you need.
This mall is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. It is walking distance from many different restaurants and entertainment locations. There is also a movie theatre located inside the mall.
Parking is inexpensive and rarely costs over one dollar for the entire shopping trip. The food court offers a wide selection of quick service restaurants and many full service restaurants are less than a five minute walk from the mall.
This mall is contained all one one floor so there are no escalators to worry about while trying to manuever a stroller or small children.
There is a great selection of stores and the food court offers many different choices including T.G.I Friday's a full service restaurant for those who want to sit and take a break.
The mall also offers a children's program called Kidgits. For five dollars you get a full year membership which entitles you to different coupons that can be picked up the customer service desk every month just by showing your card.
This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. You order at the counter from the menu hanging from the ceiling offering everything from pancakes and omlettes to egg sandwiches, then you pay and find a seat where your food will be brought to you in under ten minutes. Everything is delicious including everything in the pastry case. Pastries, cakes and side dishes as well as breads and bagels are available for take out as well.
A combination bar, dance club and concert venue, The Vogue is popular among Butler University students. Although on Wednesday night when the club does "Retro Rewind" the crowd is a little more varied. Drinks are a little more on the expensive side, and there is a fifteen dollar minimum on all credit or debit cards. There is a cover to get in the door, never more than five dollars, although generally arriving before eleven or showing a college ID will get you in for nothing. Tickets for preformances are sold seperately and are required.
