Everything you would ever need to buy in one shopping trip is inside this store.
From DVD's and CD's to books, school supplies, bath towels and groceries you can find anything you want here.
The selection is varied and the produce is fresh and the salespeople are friendly, helpful and easy to find in what is a very vast store.
The only complaint I had was the long lines at the registers on the weekends, especially Saturday. However, as long as you are prepared to wait and you have allowed yourself enough time so that you will not feel rushed it is not enough to ruin your shopping trip.
Radisson is a well -recognized and respected name in the hotel industry and this location lives up to the brand standard.
The rooms are clean and decently sized and cable television is standard in every room as is a heating and airconditioning unit.
There is an indoor pool and room service is available.
This hotel is perfetly adequate for a short stay and it's proximity to Boston is certainly helpful.
Although the Doubletree Guest Suites is considered an upper class hotel the prices don't indictate this distinction at all. For only slightly more than you would pay to stay at a discount chain hotel you can receive the quality and care offered at the Doubletree Guest Suites.
The rooms at the Doubletree Guest Suites are spacious and clean and the staff is friendly, helpful and patient. And as an added bonus you will receive warm, fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookies upon your check-in to the Doubletree Guest Suites.
All in all the Doubletree is a fantastic deal for your money.
This location of The Children's Place is wonderful. It has a great selection, great sales and helpful, knowledgeable and patient salespeople.
Unlike other locations of this chain that I have visited when sales are advertised this location has the items that they have advertised.
What really helps this location stand out above the rest however is the staff. Even with children running around wreaking havoc they are patient and calm and they really know their stuff. They don't mind running to get you another size when you've got your children in the dressing room and they can ring you out at the register in less than five minutes.
Once Upon A Child is a wonderful place to scout for gently used, and inexpensive pieces of children's clothing and shoes. Like any second-hand store it is usually hit or miss with specific items but the selection is larger than most other places of similar interest and all the clothing and shoes are in good to excellent shape.
Once Upon A Child also buys gently used children's clothing and shoes the money you receive back for your items is less than you could get it you sold them elsewhere. However for those who don't want to mess with Ebay and would like to see instant cash back for their items Once Upon A Child is the place to go.
Ulta is both a store and a salon, and the prices in both sections are more than reasonable.
The salon offers most major salon services such as a cuts, colors, styles etc.
The store part of Ulta offers skin care and beauty supplies from major designers, lesser known designers and companies you would find at your local drugstore, such as Covergirl or Revlon.
Ulta also offers their own line of cosmetics which are usually a little less expensive than the other designer brands.
There is a whole section devoted to skin care, as well as a section devoted to perfume and one devoted to hair care products.
Ulta is the place to go to find anything you may need to fill your beauty regime, and you will find it at a price that fits your budget.
For those people who are like me and find it difficult to study at home Borders is a great place to go.
The cafe is bright and the coffee is hot and not one person has ever bothered me while I sat there studying. There are ample outlets in which to plug your laptop and while there is no wireless connection no one bats an eye if you take books off the shelves to peruse while you are in the cafe.
Borders is a quiet environment with everything you need to get your studying done; good coffee, a large and varied selection of books, magazines and newspapers, and a place to plug your laptop.
CONS: No wireless internet
There is absolutely nothing in this store to suggest that you are in a discount bookstore other than the low prices.
There are several windows in this location that allow ample sunlight into the store and squashy armchairs for patrons to relax in while they browse books or wait for the staff to call their name and give them an offer on books that they wish to sell.
This location also has a large selection of DVD's, VHS tapes and CD's for purchase at very low prices.
Kiln Creations is one the many places where patrons can paint their own pottery and leave it to be fired in the kiln and pick it up about a week later to create a unique gift or personal item.
There are literally hundreds of items to choose from at Kiln Creations from coffee mugs to cake platters to wall decorations so everyone can find something that fits their interests and their budget.
There are also several special events every month including Girl's Night Out when customers are encouraged to bring food and drinks to enjoy while they paint their pieces.
All in all Kiln Creations is a fabulous experience for not a great deal of money.
The women at this Stride Rite location were wonderfully patient even as our "active" little boy pulled every shoe they had off the display and onto the floor. They helped us measure his foot and pointed out the appropriate shoes for him to try highlighing the benefits of each.
We eventually found a pair that fit his little Fred Flinstone foot and that he couldn't easily pull off. However, we balked slightly at the price. Thirty-six dollars for shoes for a toddler seemed, and still seems a trifle steep considering the beating those shoes are taking even now as I write this.
However, if your child has feet that are hard to fit, or wears his or her shoes hard then I would recomment Stride Rite for quality and service and the assurance that your child's shoes fit his or her feet right. Just be prepared to pull out your wallet.
