Okmulgee Aquatic Park
This swimming pool is more than a pool! It offers a wide variety of things for the kids to do. It has many slides and diving board. They also offer a kiddie pool for the very littlest of swimmers. They also have two life guards on duty at all times. THe only down part is that the price is the same even if your child is only a few months or even if you are not swimming you must pay to enter.

This place really tried to make a horrible time of grieving just a little bit easier of us. They had an abundance of options for caskets, but had a few out for us to look at that were in our price range so we wouldn't feel bad when we couldn't afford the higher dollar ones. They also allowed us to have as much say in looks as was possible, and we had total control over the service without much interference from anyone in their company.
Norman's Dry Cleaning
This dry cleaning service is the best. They offer a wide variety of services and they move with lightening speed. I can take my clothing in by 9am and get them out at 5pm, I would have to go to Tulsa to find that anywhere else. The staff is wonderful and really make me comfortable leaving my clothing in their care.

This chiropractic center is AWESOME! they got me in for my initial appointment the same day I called. I am a figure skater so my back is all messed up, this time my I could barely walk. I went in they did the initial xrays and such and decided to do some adjustments, and I walked out of there a NEW person. The doctor and the staff are very friendly and know what they are doing.

This is a pretty good little shop that offers a variety of services including personalizationof many types of clothing such as baseball shirts, football jerseys, and basic t shirts, shorts etc. The staff consists of one or two people yet they still have a very short turn around time. They are pretty competitive when it comes to their prices.
Anne Moroney Youth Svc Ctr
This center offers many many services for the community youth. They offer a shelter for short term stays for troubled youth. They have shelter parents that stay at the shelter or take the youth to their homes while they are being treated for whatever brought them to the shelter in the first place. The center has a doctor, psychologist, and counselors on staff and someone is at the shelter 24 hours a day
Sharpe's Department Store
My husband gets his work clothing and boots from this store. They are great. They call immediatly when something you order is in, or if for some reason they can't get it in, they will find out why they can't and call you. The staff is wonderful. THey are very friendly and helpful.
Creek Nation Travel Plaza
This little travel plaza used to be great. The location is wonderful, and gas prices are still some of the best in town, but since it is no longer a stop for greyhound, all the other prices for things such as pop and snacks has gone through the roof. They also carry little nick nack things, car stuff such as oil, gas cans etc. and all of that is about double what it is anywhere else in town
Okmulgee Police Dept
The Okmulgee police department is not the place to call if you are in a life threatening situation. They are slow to respond and most often they will treat you like you are the one that has done something wrong no matter what the situation. I was nine months pregnant and had an accident and was having contractions and bleeding and it took them almost 2 hours to respond to the 911 call! They lack common sense when it comes to basic situations.
Thorman Dentistry
Dr. THorman is a wonderful dentist. I had broken a tooth and they got me in the same day for an extraction. I got in and they realized that they coudln't pull it so they referred me to another oral surgeon in TUlsa that was just as quick. His office staff is very friendly and helps to ease your fears.
