National Cowboy & Western Hrtg

This is one of the most interesting places I've been to. The Native American artifacts will keep you busy for at least the first visit. And then there are the cowboy and western artifacts. These range from saddles to boots and spurs. Its' amazing. You'll want to go back again and again!

Bass Pro Shops

This place in enormous. They have everything for outdoors that you can think of. You can look at big boats, clothes, and any kind of camping gear. Or you can head for the fishing section, which in Oklahoma, is one of the most popular.

Hastings Books

This Hastings has a huge selection of books. To my surprise I was able to find a book for almost everyone on my Christmas list. They have a great selection of sale items most of the time as well.

Toddy's Super Market

Toddy's is a small town grocery store with a friendly staff a great atmosphere. The bakery is awesome!! You can get just about any flavor of cheesecake you can think of and this is real HOMEMADE baked cheesecake at a very reasonable price. You gotta try it!

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oklahoma City-Penn

There is no way it is worth what this place charges to stay with them. The rooms are comparable but smaller and lesser equipped than the older hotels in the general vacinity. This oneis priced at half again as much though.

La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Oklahoma City Norman

This is a generally nice hotel with large rooms that have a microwave and small refrigerator. During my stay I noticed that the water was quite orange. I was told that a water main had broken recently and caused this. If it wasn't for that, it would be a nice place to stay for a few days.

Extended Stay America Oklahoma City NW Expressway

I stayed at this facility when I needed to stay a few nights. It was fine for that but prefer the full kitchen when I needed a facility for a week. This one has small kitchenettes and just isn't like the ones with the full size appliances.

Extended Stay America Oklahoma City-Northwest

This hotel is great for a whole week stay. Each room has a kitchen with full size appliances, pots and pans, and dishes and silverware. At $60 a night you can't beat it!

Sandy Kler is one of the owners of this salon. It is because of her that I continue to patronize this establishment even though I now live in Oklahoma. Whenever I go back to CO I schedule an appointment. You're missing something if you don't give this salon a try!!!
