Paramount's Great America
This place is a lot of fun! Their rides are great (albiet not as much now since they got rid of one of my favorite rides) but more so than not, it's a lot of fun with friends and family and if you can get a good price to entry, even better!
Diablo Valley College
I never went here personally full time, but having taken a couple classes to enrich myself (they were both music classes taught by brilliant and smart teachers), and having friends and family that went here, I have to say it is an amazing community college and highly recommend it to anyone considering attending.
Easy Auto Parts
We had to go here recently to get a part for our car and they were pretty nice and had what we were looking for. While their selection isn't the best I've ever seen, they definitely make up for it with their customer service and their pretty decent prices. Overall, we walked out quite satisfied with our experience and recommend it to all others.
International House At Uc
This place is a great location to live if you're not sure what you want to do in Berkeley and want to get to know a lot more new people. Prices are a little high, but I guess worth it for those who really want the experience and I say go for it and have a good time!
Ework Services Inc
I got a lot of my paychecks from this company through a previous job, and the people working there are always very nice. They always made sure to send me information that was pertinent to me through the mail and always followed up. They were willing to help me out and answer all my questions. Very good!
Clayton Valley Bowl
This bowling location has a lot of nice people there and again is a good place to go bowling with friends or family. I've been there a few times with my friends, and on the weekends they have that great bowling with music and the lights. Sure it can be a little loud, but it makes the bowling experience quite different! While their prices aren't the best, it's still an enjoyable time.
Diablo Lanes
I've been here many times with friends and family and it's a great place to go bowling. I also used to bowl here on a minor league in high school, and the staff was always very nice to us. Their selection of balls are very good and there's always a lane available. Their prices are good, too, if you know when to go.
Paddock Bowl
This bowling location is a little out of the way from most of the things near Concord and Pleasant HIll and doesn't have a lot of lanes, so you run the risk of coming when it's very busy or just not enjoying youself THAT much. Otherwise, their prices often tend to be pretty good so that can really make up for it!
Slot Car Warehouse
This is definitely a fun place to go if you're into these kinds of activities. I was for a while, and while you can get tired of it after a while, it's still a fun thing to do with your family or friends. However, if you do it a lot, it can get a little expensive, so watch what you're spending!
Shoe Plus
My mother got her shoes fixed here a while back and she ended up getting a pretty good deal. They were nice and got the shoes done in a very good amount of time!
