Albertsons on Saratoga and Payne is a pretty nice store. Maybe it is silly, but my favorite feature is the self-checkout registers that are available. Sometimes, I'd just rather do it myself and not wait in line behind the woman that is buying all her food for the whole month, especially if I only have a few items.
My family loves to go to this place when we want good Italian food, but we don't have a lot of money to spend. They are pretty casual and they don't have huge menu variety, but what they serve is usually very good. The prices are quite low and the servings are generous.
As Barnes & Noble stores go, this one is probably about average in size. The service here is pretty good as is the selection of books. The Starbucks is connected, but separate, which is kind of nice, but you can't use the seating to drink your coffee and read, too unless you buy the book.
I've only een to this place a couple of times, (it's on the pricey side) but I just love it. It is a Benihana style restaurant; they prepare your food on a grill right at your table. The chefs are just as much entertainer as cook. We had so much fun just watching them work! I had the best fried rice I have ever tasted at Kyoto Palace. I would have been happy to eat only that, but there was more to come! It was great!
When I lived in Mountain View, this was my favorite place to go for breakfast or brunch. Their food is great! The casual, family atmosphere is quite relaxing. The portions that they serve are huge and definately won't leave hungry.
When I was looking for temp work, I found West Valley to be the most helpful agency that I applied at. They kept me working fairly consistantly at jobs that paid pretty well. They even helped me get hired as a permanent employee at a job that I kept for three years, until my family moved out of the area.
Fresh Choice is a great place for abundant healthy food. They have a large variety of salads, toppings, and make-your-own ingredients. Their breads and muffins are great and a small pizza bar is a lot of fun for kids. It's a great family-friendly, health conscious all you can eat place.
I love this library! They have recently opened a new building and it is amazing. They have probably at least 50 computers thoughout the library, so finding one isn't usually a problem. When you first go in, there is a HUGE salt water aquarium that kids just love. This is one to check out!
I really enjoy Borders bookstores because they have so much selection. The coffee shop inside the store is really nice if you like to spend time drinking coffee and reading. It is pretty easy to find what you are looking for (even if you don't know) and if you can't find it, the employees are good about helping you out.
This Fry's is probably the biggest one I have seen, they have every electronics item imaginable. It is also a great place for parts of computers. Do your research before you go in, though, because the staff usually isn't much help if you don't know what you need.
