The salon isn't fancy, but the prices can't be beat - very reasonable manicures and pedicures. They have lots of colors of polish - both Essie and Opi brands. Spa chairs for pedicures, and they have a bunch of them so you can go with friends and sit together. You can walk in for an appointment, but if you want to guarantee a time on fridays or saturdays, I'd call in advance.
Spacetime tanks are a really unique experience. Enjoy 1 hour of sensory deprivation floating. A wonderful way to relax. They have gift certificates available if you want to get someone something different than the usual massage or spa treatment. After floating, you can adjust back to reality while hanging out watching the fishtank and enjoying a cup of tea.
From the moment you walk in, you start to relax. Urban Oasis is a terrific spa with wonderful massages. Gift certificates are great for birthdays, mothers day, etc. They have a wide variety of services, and a selection of showers for after - rainfall, pressure, etc. The staff is very helpful and can help you choose what type of service you are looking for.
The store is jam packed with the latest styles - from super casual to black tie formal. All the shoes are discounted from the full retail price, although probably not as good of a discount as a really good sale somewhere else. With this large of a selection, however, you know you'll find something that you're looking for. Keep in mind, the store is really crowded and there aren't clear aisles, so it's hard to bring the kids with to shop.
The pool is spectacular and the erupting volcano is very cool, but the rooms are just average for this higher priced hotel. Great location right on the strip and they do have a poker room, but there are other hotels that have better rooms, buffets, restaurants and a more exciting casino.
One of the few places in Manhattan that still have Free live music. They have many different bands each night - typically playing about a 1 hour set. So if you go, and don't like the band, wait for the next one as it may be a whole different type of music.
This Nine West Outlet has discounted prices to the main stores - on average you can save about 20%, but when they have their sales, it can be even bigger. Sometimes they are last year's styles, but for basics, you can get good deals.
Reasonably priced, lots of fabrics and styles to choose from so you can customize to your liking. They do change their inventory however so if you want to get something, buy it before they discontinue the style.
Great selection especially if you need to find gifts. They have a good return policy and put stickers on everything so you don't have to search for a gift receipt. If you buy a lot, sign up to be a frequent shopper and you'll get lots of extras like coupons, special sales, free gift wrapping, etc.
I recently tried Vertuti for the first time, went to Alex and had a great experience. He's very knowledgable and did a wonderful job with color and the cut. Prices are very reasonable for a good salon.
