Amos auto parts is a great business. They have a wide range of part's from imports to american cars and trucks. They also will beat the competition in price. The parking is great and the atmosphere is very friendly. You can't go wrong with Amos!

Head Start
Head start is a great program to get your youngster prepared for school, they provide a full line of activities for your child to do each day. they have various learning centers, storytime, naptime, lunch and the best playtime! very good licensed and trained staff. they are very patient which is always a good thing.

CONS: Center closes at 4 p.m.
Okemah Public Schools Supt Ofc
Okemah public schools overall does a good job with teaching their student's. However since i attended okemah Public schools i can see how easily unprepared i actually was to enter college my suggestion is to go ahead and enroll here becaue you will get a good education, but in the 10th grade or so i would pick up some additional tutoring to better prepare your student for college. Okemah school's do provide great sport's program's!

Okemah Head Start Center
This is a wonderful preschool program. They have a licensed staff, cook, transportation to and from school by bus if needed. Activites and a learning center are also included. Kid's love this place! they are very well rated in the community. Parent parking pick up is very good also!
PROS: Ton's of activities!
CONS: facility closes at 3 p.m.
Muskogee Creek Nation Office Of Child Care
This is far by one of the best day care centers around. A fully licensed staff watch's children from newborn to school age and beyond. They do craft's and provide meals as well as field trips! The center is also decorated in a child friendly way with character's such as spongebob square pants and strawberry shortcake!
PROS: Fully licensed
CONS: May need to qualify for DHS to attend
Scott Michelle
A locally owned child care center but one that is very good. They do various activities with the children and they get a wholesome cooked meal. The owner and caretaker is very nice and has her home decorated in a kid friendly way. DHS approved also.

Clairenda's
This place is wonderful, a full craft mall with local artist's items and very reasonable prices too. It is decorated so cute! Also on tuesday enjoy homemade fried pies, peanut brittle and more! They have all prices on all their items from $1-$1000! so there is something for everyone and the parking is easy right on main street!
PROS: Enjoy Tasty Tuesdays with homemade treats!

Diner
for the area this is a good hospital. If they can't treat what is wrong with you they will send you by helicopter or ambulance to a facilty that can. They offer some minor surgeries, here as well as a 24 hour emergency room. Waiting room, vending area, pay phones and lot's of parking are also offered.
PROS: 24 hour emergency room
CONS: Not a full service hospital. No baby deliveries are handled.
Elis Tanning Salon
A brand new tanning salon, ELI's offer very low prices with both regular beds and stand up booth's. They also have a huge line of lotion and tanning stickers! The parking is easy and the sales reps are super nice! you can't go wrong.
PROS: a total of four beds!
CONS: Located slightly outside town.
Bruce Coker & Assoc Pc
This is a very good lawyer to get. In addition to his regular practice he is also a the acting attorney for the City of Okemah and the Okemah public School system. He charges only for the work he actually does and not the time involved.
PROS: Impressive experience, quality rates
CONS: hard to get appointment due to schedule
