Old Navy- I don't choose to go to this particular location much because I really like the downtown San Francisco one much better for their selection and location.
Old Navy - this old navy store is nothing special. Their sale section is not big, their location is not that great (near Barnes and Nobble and an Italian restaurant,) their parking situation is bad
Old Navy - this old navy location is not too big but what it does have is a huge sale section. That is why I go there often - sales. I can buy a tshirt for $5 there
Old Navy - messy messy messy? Why, probably because of the personal! I don't think I am going to go there again soon because I just can't find anything i am looking for
Old Navy on
Market Street is HUGE! It has everything, including the maternity section. Maternity section has a huge selection and everything is priced so low
It is located in the getto mall and it is small and not too pleasant. The people working there are good but the books are always all over, especially in the kid section
Barnes & Noble on Bay Street in Emeryville is very pretty!!!! It is very new and clean. It has good book selection and there are lots of other stores in the area to check out
I go to this Barnes & Noble to read books if not buy them. They used to have lots of cushy chairs - but they don't anymore. So, kids section is the only place to read now
My family and I stayed at the Chancellor to celebrate my 40th birthday. If you are going to stay anywhere whilst in San Fransisco STAY HERE. The hotel is clean, the staff are great, nice personal touches. would definatley stay there again.
- Once you have done your looking around online and found what you think is the best deal, go to the Palomar website and see what they are charging for the exact same type o room. If you call the number for reservations or go to the Kimpton Group website you can see they have a "best rate guaranteed" deal where they match the rate you found plus you get late checkout times and a room upgrade if available. The room upgrade is probably a little iffy according to other reviews on this site, but it did work for us. We booked a King Deluxe (their base room) and were upgraded to a Executive King room which is slightly larger and faces out rather than looking at the inner courtyard. The room is still not overly large (350 square feet) but the view was nice (Market Street, with Macy's etc. in view). I should mention that I wrote an email to the reservations people at the hotel asking for a room upgrade as well so not sure if the upgrade happened as a resut of the Kimpton guarantee or my email. Still, well worth a try. We got ours for $200 U.S. a night including all taxes which while not a huge steal was decent.
