This place is way bigger and better than the Video Paradise in Westwood. The selection is much bigger, and the service is far less smug. Go the extra mile to Dedham Square if you really want a movie. This place has more games and posters too. It is definitely your best bet for a good flick. Late fees are decent too.
Unless you're looking for a huge Blockbuster film that is everywhere, go to the Video Paradise in Dedham instead. The selection is far superior there. The prices are regular video store prices, though the Blockbuster prices are now lower. I think this place is going out of business anyways. Don't go, it's not worth it.
The Smithsonian is the best out there! It has exhibits on every facet of world history, amazing simulations, enthralling showcases, and a sheer mass of information so great that it takes a whole day to really absorb it. DEFINITELY see this before you die. The museum is top of the line in every way imagineable, and you simply can't be dissapointed. Admission is free, if I remember correctly, with an advised donation. See it, and you won't regret it.
The Spy Museum is fantastic! The only caveat is that if you go during high traffic times, be sure to get tickets in advance, as the lines can be a little long. The audio-guided tour and the history of terrorism exhibit amazed me, and the other artifacts and simulations were fantastic. I definitely recommend trying it if you are in the mood for a really cool place. Check it out!
The Museum of Science is great, but not perfect for a few reasons. There are usually throngs of children, but if you're willing to deal with that, it's definitely worth going to! Bring children of all ages and prepare to be amazed by great exhibits of all types. There really is something for everyone in the Museum of Science. Be sure to go in a group if you go to the OMNI, which is also really cool. Admission is cheap. Check it out.
The IMAX theater makes anything you see better and more entertaining. It really is enormous! I recommend their specialty, 3D shows! Make sure you see something there if you're in the aquarium. The prices are pretty reasonable and fair, and the entertainment value is well worth it. Definitely be sure to check it out! You won't regret it!
The American Museum of Natural History is world famous for good reason. The building is full of historical artifacts and entertaining educational substance, and the shows are worth seeing. For a low price, the building is really unbelievable. DEFINITELY see this one if you happen to be in the area!
The USS Intrepid Museum is among the best in New York. The ship has a submarine tour, hundreds of decomissioned airplanes, cool simulations, and plenty of other entertainment. The prices are low and it's one of the only places that has such content! It's a must see for NYC tourists. It blew me away, and I'm sure you'll love it too!
CVS may not have world class service or family-owned charm, but they have everything you need at a corner store at low prices and on the run. I usually don't have much time to shop, but CVS gets me what I need so I can get out the door and back to the rest of my life. Go to CVS if you need basic goods without the fluff.
I love this place because it's run by real people who don't try anything fancy and just cut your hair. My hair always looks way better when I get it cut here than at some fancy shmancy place, and this place is far cheaper too. Get a haircut and a shave here if you want just that. This is a barber shop the way barber shops should be.
