I've been here a few times and I've always had a great experience. The comedians you'll see are some of the best around and sometimes you'll be lucky enough to get a celebrity up on stage who's brushing up for their next tour. There is a two drink minimum which makes up for the inexpensive tickets, but it is well worth it. You'll definitely enjoy yourself!
This tour is a great experience for new comers and visitors to Los Angeles. The tour lasts about 2 1/2 hours and there is no food or drink allowed on the tour or available to you during the tour, so make sure you fuel up before going. The tour is very personal and you'll only have 10-15 others in your group. Plenty of great photo ops on the tour and you will most likely get the chance to walk around a series soundstage or two as well as the set for a major sitcom. Impress your visitors and take them here.
This particular location of the major grocery store has a GREAT deli. Better than just about any other Ralph's in the valley. It doesn't quite compare to say Gelson's, in terms of gourmet choices and variety, but then again, you pay considerably less here also. The Ralph's on Lake can't compare with this one.
These guys are great! They can do just about anything to your jeans. Repair, hem, patch, you name it, they'll do it. And for a very fair price. They know jeans here and they will give you the custom fit/repair you need. Great personal service.
This place is cool. But almost too cool. The prices are really high and there is a dress code on weekend nights. Whoever heard of that. Having a cool bar atmosphere is a definite advantage, but who wants to bowl in club attire? Great for a corporate event, bad for a casual night of Kingpin.
I have been to this urgent care facility and few times and both doctors my wife and I dealt with were very kind and attentive. They were very patient to hear all of our symptoms and talk to us, find out as much as possible and do a thorough check before making a diagnosis or just prescribing someting so they could move on to the next patient. Convenient parking and located right across the street from a major hospital.
This is one of the most beautiful and technologically advanced intimate performance spaces in the country. The main theatre space hosts a full season of world class theatrical productions and the smaller space offers concerts in an accoustically superior setting. Always something great happening at this cultural gem.
Why? Because they have a 50 cents table where the minimum bet is $2. So, while you won't necessarily win big, you won't lose big either. If you are just learing how to play roulette, this is a great place to sharpen your novice skills.
Don't come here for a quality hotel or great vegas experience. It is all about a cheap game of roulette. Go somewhere else for all other activities.
Binions Hotel is so so. Binions Casino and Breakfast are an absolute must if you stay downtown. Binions is a great place to gamble cheap, play some poker at the location of the world series of poker and the breakfast here is super cheap.
CONS: Lots of smoke
Ice Skating in New York's Central Park. If you want that experience, this is the place to go. The rink is not very big, but the tunes they pump out are fun and the overall experience is worth the high price you pay. If you don't live in NY, then this is one of those things you have to do when visiting in the winter months and the cost is the same as any other great, classic NY experience.
Afterall, this place is built by "The Donald." You should expect to pay a little.
