Chignon Hair Salon

This is a great salon. I walked in one day in desperate need of a cut. I was referred to Natalie and she did an amazing job of taming my unruly do. I recently went back for another cut and I also got my hair colored this time. She did an amazing job. Unfortunately, when I left the salon it was already dark outside, so it wasn't until the light of day that I noticed that the color was a bit too dark for me. I called the salon that same day to talk to Natalie about my options, she quickly called me back and gave me her suggestions. I'm going to go back in sometime this week and for some highlights to lighten it up a bit. I'm confident that it will turn out great.

I highly recommend Natalie if you're looking for a friendly, talented stylist.

Bikram's Yoga College Of India

This is by far the best workout I've ever done. It's a physical and mental challenge to even make it through the class, at least initially. The heat (over 100 degrees) is hard to get used to, but it's a very beneficial part of the workout. It allows you to push yourself further than you think you could go, and the results are amazing. I highly recommend any of the instructors in Studio City to anyone who's looking to get into shape and start living a healthier life.

Paradise Bakery & Cafe

I first discovered Paradise Bakery in Colorado and was pleasantly surprised to find one tucked away in the depths of the Phoenix airport. I make it a point to eat here anytime I have a layover. The food is always fresh. They serve the basics . . . soups, salads and sandwiches but the flavors are anything but basic. And the sweets are the highlight of Paradise. I highly recommend you try any of their fresh baked cookies. That's really what got me hooked!

If you're looking for a caterer, no look further. Kathleen and crew are experts at the "art of catering". They leave no detail overlooked and the food is out of this world! I've worked with lots of caterers and I can honestly say Kathleen is the most creative, hardest working professional around.

Nine West Outlet

If you're looking for a great pair of shoes, I recommend this Nine West in the Sherman Oaks Galleria. They always seem to have a better selection than others. Every time I go in, I always find at least one pair that I can't do without! The service can be kind of slow, but it's a busy store.

Macy's

I've had several bad experiences while shopping here. The salespeople are pretty sub-par. I feel like I'm bothering them when I have a return or even to find someone to check out. But I do love the selection at this Macys compared to some others. So if you aren't in a hurry and don't mind the poor service, shop here.

FantaSea Yachts & Yacht Club

What a great experience! If you're looking for a unique place to throw a party, this is place to go. They have several large yachts to choose from. The best part is they will plan everything for you. Food and drinks, linens and flowers, they have it all. The food is great and the service is impeccable. I recommend a sunset cruise ... you're guests will be truly impressed!

Hotel Figueroa

A great downtown secret, this hotel is truly unique. It's a great experience for a night out on the town or a special event. There's an amazing energy about this place.

Volkswagen of Van Nuys INC

I bought my Jetta here 3 years ago. The service was great and the selection of cars was amazing. It's a great place to window shop because of the plethora of other dealerships on the strip. One stop shopping.

Oasis Nail Spa

This place is always extremely busy. I went here expecting an amazing experience, but it was just ok. I felt very rushed. I realize there were alot of women waiting to have they're hands and feet primped and polished, but you can't sacrifice quality for quantity (in my opinion).
