Walnut Creek Saab
This is a nice dealership. They have some nice cars, when we went car- hunting, they were very nice and told us about all the features of the cars, let us test drive them, etc. Their prices were pretty good, but never the less, we decided to go with a Honda. If we ever decide to get another car, I will definetally consider this place. Check it out!
Gymboree Play & Music
Gymboree has a lot of fun classes for little ones up until the age of about 5 for your kids, and they are very fun- filled for the kids. But, there is a small problem- the prices are a little high. I love this place because you can go there and drop your son/daughter off and watch them have a good time and stay active, as well as meet new little friends!
2gorjis Skin Care
My friend has been going to 2 gorjis for a while and highly reccomends it. She said that I should try it, so I made an appointment, and they had a small place where you can get customized makeup for your skin tone, I met with the lady and she was very nice and helpful. Although I did not end up getting any of the makeup I will remember they were very nice and will probably return again!
Diablo Valley Heating & Air Conditioning
This is a pretty nice place, they fixed our Air conditioning/ Heating system when it broke. The service guy came in, he was very nice and helpful. Their prices can not be beat, they will give you a pretty good estimate on the phone if you tell them your problem. Now our Air Conditioner works very well, and we have not had any problems since we got it fixed! I highly reccomend them!
K B Toys
This is a great place to buy some toys and games for kids. Usually they have clearences and specials (buy one get one free, etc). They have some really neat things here for that little special munchkin in your life. It sure isn't as big as Toys R Us, but hey, it's right in the mall. Convienience matters. It is a little more expensive for some things but basically their toya are market priced.
Hertz
This is not the best company ever, based on an experience I had not too long ago. The lady wanted to sell insurance to us (we were in Hawaii) so we called our insurance company and they said we were covered. So we got our car and then it turns out it was the wrong one (but it was cute, a Chevy Malibu) so instead the lady gives us a golden old car. It was dirty, scratched, etc. We complained to her and she gave us another silver car which wasn't any better so we complained to the manager who gave us the Chevy Malibu! This California Hertz is better though. They are a little more cooperative. And they have a nice selection of cars.
Aveda Environmental Lifestyle
Aveda is kind of like The Body Shop, Bath and Body Works, etc. except it is in a fre locations, not plastererd everywhere. They have very nice things as well as some good smelling aroma therapy! They carry soaps, body washes and sprays, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, facial masks and scrubs, toners, cleaners, etc. So many things for your body! Great for a relaxing day at home!
Courtyard Sacramento (Mariott)
This was a quick-trip kind of place for us. It isn't that big, but it is very nice. They have small buildings for rooms, and they have balconies as well as all- around parking. There are malls nearby, and it is a nice place to stay. It is not as expensive as all the bigger, more luxorious hotels, but it is just as nice. The staff are nice in finding you an empty room if you suddenly need another room,etc. I would go here again.
Michael Stead Cadillac
This is a nice place to buy a Chevy or a Cadillac car. They have nice high- quality cars and they have a place to repair the cars. They are nice and quick although it can be very expensive there for repairs. The employees are very nice, sometimes they don't tell you everything when trying to sell you a car, but hey- don't all dealers? I would reccomend this particular dealer because I am impressed with their bodywork on cars.
Boomers
Not too long ago, I went to this park with a friend and her kids. They loved it! We went miniature golfing, and rode on go-karts. It was a nice amusement park! Then the kids ended up spending a fortune in the arcade trying to win "tickets" to collect prizes. I would think this is a really nice place for a birthday party for kids 10-15 because you have to be a certain age to ride the go-karts. The staff was nice and the prices aren't really expensive.
