Mathis Brothers Furniture
We picked out a $2100 armoir entertainment center and had it delivered. However, it came defective from the factory and needed some repair. After contacting the store, I was told it would be a few days before someone could come fix it. After some thought, we decided to just return it, but we had to wait 3 days before they could come pick it back up again. The store is nice with wide selection, but I expected so much better quality on such a high priced item. And then having to wait so long for either a repair or pick up was just aggravating.
Marriage Go Round
My groomsmen and I rented tuxes here a while back and I was pleased. The staff worked with us to get us measured, although I was not too excited with the tuxes when we go them, but there was no turnging back. I believe that you are just not going to be able to rent a well fitting suit! But, I was happy with the store and they had very competitive prices.
Tulsa Zoo
I have always loved the Tulsa Zoo. It has expanded some and still has great exhibits. Some areas I wish they would update too, as they have declined in the last 10 years or so. I hope they have plans to keep expanding. Our families favorite area is the rain forest, it is just so neat. My kids have a good time there, especially with the fairly new park area where they can get out and play for a while.
Sutherlands
Southerlands is a long time favorite home improvement store. I enjoy looking for the items I need and seeing all the items I think I might need too. The employees are there when you need them, but it is more fun to walk through and find what you need yourself so you can browse the rest of the store.
Casual Male Xl
Since this is the only mens wear store I know of that specifically caters to big and tall men, then it is the best. They carry a decent selection of clothing and accessories, and the prices are a little high, but big and tall items usually are. The salesmen was helpfull and polite and informed me of when their next sale was so I could come back.
A Pea in the Pod
I went maternity clothes shopping with my wife here and it is a nice liittle store. The clothes were stylish and flattering, but after looking at the price tags I about had a heart attack! Aren't maternity clothes only worn for a few months? Then how can one pair of jeans cost $80! Just rediculous prices. My wife found an item or two on sale, but we could not bring ourselves to pay that much money especially when we have to save money for baby items! The sales woman was very nice, and busy as she was the only employee, but she was as helpfull as she could be.
Toys R US
Of coufse they have toys, but they have so much toys that it is almost overwhelming. Don't bring the little kids or else they will want everything they see. Their after Thanksgiving sale was good, but because the mainwalkways were so small, it was diffictult to navigate and was almost pandamonium. The employees were nice through it all, but the store sure could use some updating as the building is old and outdated.
At Home
My wife and her mother could, and have spent hours in here shopping. The store is huge, with everything crafty you could think of. While I would be more happy shopping for tools, I did enjoy looking at garden accessories to spruce up the yard with. There is a large selection of every type of item and good prices.
Drysdales Western Wear
As a tall man, it's hard to find jeans in the right size, but Drysdales has them every time. The store is well lit, a bit crowded with merchandise, but they have great clothing and accessories. The employees are eager to assist and do a good job helping me find just what I need. The prices are very competitive.
Hobby Lobby
This Hobby Lobby location is a little run down, but it still has a great selection. It would be nice if they would re-do this store so that it could look more up to date and clean. The employees are generally nice and helpfull.
