What a great children's store! They carry very good quality merchandise. The customer service is always friendly and nice. It's a very kid friendly store with lots of things for the kids to play with--w/o feeling like you have to tell your child not to touch anything. It's a wonderful place to find a unique gift! I've received many gifts from here and they are among my favorites!
PROS: Great Service
I don't get why a kids store would be located in a spot that you can't push your stroller up! There's some stairs that you have to carry the stroller up. If you are lucky the person working there will help you otherwise get ready to lift!
That aside they have a nice collection of boys and girls clothes. They also have a nice selection of Robbez shoes and a some nice toys & gifts. The last time I was there I bought a ball for my baby that she just loves!
The service is always friendly and welcoming.
PROS: Nice merchandise, friendly service
CONS: Have to lift a stroller to get in there
Okay..so this is one of the only places you can go in Novato to get some higher end baby items. However--I still make the drive to other shops because I am just not fond of this one. The main reason is the crappy customer service. I've been in here about 5 times and not once have I been greeted. Most of the time the one person in the store is on the phone and just doesn't care that a customer in is there. The store is geared towards babies and kids, but it's just not kid friendly. It's extremely hard to navigate a stroller through it--its' too cramped and badly merchandised. They have a nice assortment of merchandise.
PROS: Nice merchandise
CONS: Horrible customer service, not kid friendly even though it's a baby store!
This place keeps getting better and better! All it needs is a grocery store and you wouldn't have to go anywhere else! I'm there a couple times a week to visit Costco, Target, Sephora and a few other stores. There's a few restaurants (Ihop, Chevys, Fresh Choice) but it would be nice to get another one in there. Parking is usually good, except near Target and Costco (especially during the weekends!) Don't forget to check out the Eddie Bauer outlet!
CONS: Parking is a little hard on the weekends
The Panda room is a super cute little hair salon for kids. It's not cheap at $20 for about 5 minutes of work! The location is always very clean and tidy. They have a nice selection of toys for kids to play with while they are waiting. The staff is very patient--but then they have to be cutting kids hair!!! Parking is easy. Watch out for them trying to cut off more hair than you want!
PROS: Fast, Kid friendly
CONS: A bit expensive
After hearing great things about this place from a few of our friends we decided to check it out. It wasn't until after we went that more friends stepped forward to say how much they hated it! I can see why! The food isn't nothing to write about. The prices are waaaay to high for what you get. The drinks are weak and just aren't worth ordering. The service is awful. It's the kind of place you don't expect to last much longer.
CONS: Parking, Overpriced, Weak Drinks, Bad Food
This place is hopping on the weekends!!! It's a cute little dinner that's decorated in a flashy fun kind of way. The menu is what you would expect of a typical dinner--salads, burgers, etc. They have a good pie selection. The best part is the breakfast menu. My friend swears by the New York Waffle--a waffle piled high with ice cream, fruit and whip cream! Parking is terrible!
PROS: Good food
If you want a good burrito and don't want to have to go to a real sit down restaurant but want better than a taco bell--High Tech Burrito is where you should go. They have something on the menu for everyone! You can choose the tortilla type, pick healthier options (if you want!) and enjoy one of the biggest burritos you'll ever have! Check out spicy cajun prawn or the godzilla!
PROS: Great options!
CONS: A little pricey for what you get.
This is a popular restaurant and I have no idea why! The food is only so-so. Parking isn't great. The service is really lacking. It's a really cramped restaurant. The last time we went here was on Cinco de Mayo. What really stood out in my mind was that they were serving wine and alcohol out of these cheap little plastic cups. Go to La Hacienda instead!
CONS: parking, food, service
They have been doing some remodeling due to a fire. We finally went back and it looks great! The restaurant is decent sized to accommodate many guests. They have a big breakfast crowd--especially on the weekends-so I recommend getting there early! The food is tasty with good portion sizes. I've never left feeling hungry or disappointed! Definitely a place to go for a Sunday Breakfast!
PROS: Good Food
