Cheescake factory is always a great place to dine with your friends. I ordered the shrimp pasta, and it was pretty good. A bit on the expensive side, but wow, it was filling. I had to pack some to go because their portions were quite big. Restaurant has a great ambience and the waiters are really courteous and attentive. Come here for the cheesecake though, they have quite a selection that will sure to please your taste!
Pretty good chinese fast food. On par with panda express and the like, they offer the chinese mainstays: orange chicken, kung pao chicken, chow mein, fried rice, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary, and nothing extraordinary. For about $7 with a drink, you get pretty full. Not too bad for the local college students, and it's right next to the 99 ranch, so you can pick something up for the trip back home. It's average size and there's no problem finding parking.
The food here is decent at best, and nothing to crave about. The wait time is usually 15 minutes to an hour and I'm not sure if it's worth it. The portions are decent, and the pizzas are well-topped, but even the medium size is small. The only thing that saves Bjs is the pizookie, which is why many people stop by. Parking is limited, and the place gets really crowded, so be warned.
What a great place to grab dim sum. This place is pretty well known to the locals for it's great dim sum menu, and although the prices are a bit high, the food is pretty mouth watering. Not a bad place to hold wedding receptions either because the restaurant is very spacious and has a lot of tables. The place gets very crowded, so expect to wait a little while.
Infamous for the commercials, the baby back ribs do deliver. Their other plates are not too bad, and the portions are decent. This location is about the same size as most of the other Chili's restaurants and the waitresses are very nice. To-go is a great addition for those chicken/ribs cravings I sometimes get.
My family makes frequent visits here for the beef pho bowls. They are quite filling and a great way to start off weekend mornings. With the pho craze catching on, the place gets crowded on the weekends, but it dies down during the regular week hours. A good place to stop by if you're in the area. The restaurant doesn't provide eye-candy, but it's not as dirty as a lot of other places.
Although it's kind of pricey, the food is very good and fills you up quickly. Not just your normal "mexican" restaurant, they are really creative with their plates, and it shows in their taste. Good atmosphere, and definitely skater/surfer cultured decorations. Gets an A++ from me, but it gets packed during the lunch hours, so seating might be limited.
Not sure if this is the right one, but hey they're not too different from each other. Great place for lunch, dinner or a midnight snack. Their rolled tacos are great, their carne asada and california burritos keep you coming back, and their carne asada fries are always generous. This place has some awesome Mexican food, and although it might not all be "authentic" it's damn good.
I don't really remember my first exposure to chipotle, but it was really good. For $6, you get a huge burrito, or a burrito bol, or 3 tacos. They absolutely stuff these things with rice, chicken/steak/carnitas, cheese, sour cream, and salsa. You've just got to try it first. You'll probably have a heart attack or coma afterwards, but it'll keep you coming back for more. Seating is not too comfortable, but you'll survive.
I've eaten here several times and although this is not one of the best wahoo's restaurants, it does good. The combo plates are very generous and really good. They offer more than just fish tacos, including steak tacos and chicken plates along with burritos. The service however is not too much to talk about and sometimes you'll have to wait 15 minutes for a side order of chips...
