Dc Ducks
The city is way too humid to want to sit on one of these duck tours all day. It's a much better option to metro around and walk. Plus they just look foolish.
Wisconsin Barber & Hair Styling
I went here once for my haircut and wasn;t too pleased. I had to wait forever and it definietly wasn't worth my time. From what I can remember they weren;t to friendly either.
Rage Clothing
This is a small shop in Georgetown that sells vintage clothes and is really popular during the Halloween season when they have costumes on sale. The t-shirts are really cheap.
National Museum of The America
The coolest part of the museum was the entryway with the spiral ceiling. There are very few exhibits/artifacts and way too many television screens. You could view all this from home at your computer.
National Aquarium
Don't expect much here. You're better off taking a trip to the pet store and staring at the fish in the tanks. The aquarium is in the basement of the Commerce Building. It's a waste of your money and yoru time. Definitely go to Baltimore if you want a real aquarium experience.
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
First of all, you have to make reservations and get a place holder ticket early in the morning of the day you plan on visiting. The tour is very emotional, and they pass out a card with someone's biography written inside. You each get a different person and by the end of the tour you learn their fate .
Internaional Spy Museum Store
At the end of the museum's tour you are left in the gift shop. Normally this is an annoying distraction, but the Spy Museum's store offers a wide selection of gadgets that are fun to check out. You can even purchase a lock picking kit, (and watch a video on how to pick locks on the tour).
International Spy Museum
I visited the Spy Museum the day they opened. You'll need to go more than once to read everything. Once cool feature is the atomic bomb room, where it counts down to an explosion while displaying the chain of the information leak leading up to the bomb.
Georgetown University
Definitely a great place to go to school. Perfect location in the nation's capitol, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to get to know people from all over the world. Just remember to get off campus every once and a while. Most people tend to stay within the comfort zone of the hilltop and don;t get the chance to see the city.
Dulles Taxi Sedan Company
Unnecesarily expensive when you just want to ge to Dulles airport to make yoru flight. It would be much cheaper and more convenient to just book a Super Shuttle.
