Refinishing hardwood floors could have been a nightmare for us because our house is so small, but Ryerson made it as simple as possible. They also worked fast, so we weren't displaced any longer than we had to be.
I've done a variety of research for this company, ranging from evaluating wasp tracks to talking about ways to discourage smoking. It pays very well for really not much work. It's also rather fun.
This is simply a fun bar for women. Every Tuesday they also do a women's strip show, but it's classy, not sleazy like the ones you'd see in a men's bar. Their theme gatherings are great, too.
If you ever need a concrete wall that is something more than the basic thing most contractors slap up in a day, C. A. S. is the way to go. Their workers are not only fast and reasonably priced, but they put some art into their work.
This place can do some of the tastiest and prettiest meals for a catered party. I've "eaten" its work at several corporate functions and it's always extremely yummy. Prices aren't too bad, either.
This restaurant is a lot of fun in addition to being quite tasty. I'd tried it for lunch numerous times and also been there in the evenings, when belly-dancers really get things stirred up. If you're downstairs, you can hear the footsteps and plate breaking downstairs.
This is a wonderful market to visit. I was trying to find some spices and vegetables that I'd tried in Jamaica and I was able to find them all there, and reasonably priced too. The owners were very friendly and helpful, even inquiring about our trip to the Caribbean. It's worth checking out even if you're not familiar with the style of food.
The technicians at Woodstock Eye Clinic were helpful without being pushy and urged what seemed to be only appropriate treatment. I just have "aging" eyes and need traditional reading glasses, but I'd recommend them to folks with more serious issues as well.
Young & Roehr has a nice grasp on the world of high-tech gadgetry and is able to offer insightful suggestions for public relations campaigns for even the most esoteric product. The agency also throws some of the best parties in Portland.
I found broker Bob Zaikoski to have a wonderful grasp of home architecture. He studied architecture, which gives him an edge in the specialty home area, I think. He was especially helpful in touring a 1950s "modern" style home. He has his own web site at www.portlandmodern.com.
