Not that anyone wants to have to go to a hospital, but if I did again, I would always pick GBMC. The care that my family has received there has always been top notch.
My only complaint is that I have to pay to park to visit people, I find that a negitive; especially since the last thing on my mind when seeing someone in the hospital is "do I have cash for the parking" UGH
I love Regal! It is nice to be able to stop by and see all of the movie posters to make a decision. We find that the movie times are nicely spaced, too, in case we have time to see two flicks in one day.
The ticket prices are not too bad considered how clean they keep the place; the lobby is actually a nice place to relax while waiting for a movie to start; a few arcade games to keepkids busy (ok, my hubby plays the games too!)
On a personal note, I like the fact that the bathrooms are clean and well stocked.
I enjoy stopping into Brass and Oak while I am at Festival to see if they have anything on sale; I don't think I would buy something there at full price for two reasons - - 1) they seem overpriced to me and 2) if you wait, the item will go on sale.
Because this is handmade wood furniture made in Lancaster County, you have to wait several weeks if you want to order something... but you get to pick the finish/stain this way. If you buy at the holidays, there is a 2 month wait, but they will honor the sale price if you bought it on sale.
Smaller items are cash and carry, though, you don't have to wait... like a coat rack or magazine stand etc.
I stopped at Neptune's Den while in the Festival; I won't go back there again.
I thought it would be nice to support a small pet store instead of a chain... however, this store smelled so bad that I cut my shopping trip real short.
I cannot describe the smell, something between animal waste and dead goldfish? UGH!
I stop at Olive Branch when I am at the mall; I don't think I would make a special trip just to shop there.
The selection is nice, some nice Christian gifts. The store space is very small and I think they could do a better job of arranging so that there is a more clear path through the store.
I have never asked for help, though, so I don't know what knowledge the staff have, or if they are just cashiers?
The store used to be a nicer place to stop and browse; I feel that that quality of the items for sale have gone downhill over the past years. The Prices are the cheapest in Bel Air, however!
I ordered balloons for a party and went to pick them up, of course I was in a hurry. They had not processed my order so I had to wait for them to find and fill the balloons. I felt that the reason I ordered in advance was to avoid that delay on the day of the event. They offered no explanation or apology, not even a 10% discount for my trouble.
I won't shop there now unless I am already in the plaza where they are located and I need a quick item or two.
I try to stop by the Flower Cart whenever I am in the area; they have the most unique gift ideas around. I have always received great service.
The prices, well, you will pay a little more than at a superstore but you will get something nice and will be proud to give their products as gifts.
Premier has DJ'ed our company holiday party for several years and always do a nice job. We had a problem one time with employee requests, so the next year the hostess made up a "list" of no-no's for the DJ.
He followed the list, even though there were requests to play some of the songs... I felt that the DJ was very respectful to the hostess (who was writing the check of course).
If I ever need a personal event DJ'ed, I would call Premier in a heartbeat!
I love this small store! I feel like I can ask questions withouting feeling "dumb" and the folks always know the answers. Once I was looking for something in a specific budget and the guy told me he would call if he received something in stock. Well, I was shocked when he ordered the component for me at a price I could afford.
You can't say "the big guy" stores would ever try to get you something like that, they would try to make you spend more :)
I have also never felt any pressure to buy, good place to browse.
We browsed at Pete's several times before making our motorcycle purchase. The staff there REALLY know the products and features of their bikes. I felt that the service was good too, because each time we were there it was crowded with shoppers; we always received a greeting and help with our quesitons.
