We needed to have a windshield replaced on our car; we were not using our insurance plan though, due to a high deductible. Well, Automotive Concepts worked with us to come out the same day that I called. They were very fast in the job they did, and it has not leaked (been over a year).
The price was right for the quick service, about the same as one other company that I called but they had a two day wait.
Would use them again in a heartbeat, although we hope not to have to replace another windshield for a long time!
This is a very unique flower and gift shop, they sell the nicest items. I have bought many gifts here over the years, it seems that whenever I stop by for fresh flowers they have something new that I love!
We moved away from the area, but I still stop by whenver I can; I think you would be happy with the selection.
The prices are "ok" or "average" so I don't ever plan on a bargain, just nice gifts.
I shopped around for my Mazda; I knew what model I wanted for a few weeks before purchasing. I just wanted to find the best deal that I could get for this major purchase.
I stopped at the Heritage Mazda Kia dealership in Bel Air and met the Most Honest car saleman I have ever encountered - - Will Wells. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who lives in Maryland. It is worth your time and gas money to go to Bel Air to buy your car from him :)
This is one of the best places to buy Christmas decorations that I have ever visited. They saw theme trees through the center.
As well, they have great Halloween decor and pumpkins; try some of the apple cider if you stop by, it's great!
We bought a plant there and it was not healthy the next week; I called for help on nursing it, they told me to bring it back to exchange! I didnt even have my receipt and they swapped it for a healthier plant.
This store is now having a sale on all items in the Garden Center; this location is closing - NOT a going out of business sale, just this location.
I have never really gotten very good service, so stopping there for the sale was a dumb idea on my part! However, I did buy a few sale items due to the great prices. If you need a tree of shrub, it is the perfect time and place!
I have been to Dutch Apple several times and will go again. The entire experience is great, they have trained and talented staff, from the front door to the end of the buffet line.
My only concern, and I feel this each time I go, is that some of the seating is a bit crowded. It is like they put a few too many tables on the floor; I know it is about making money but it can be difficult to move your chair to see the stage. I guess if you call when a show is first selling tickets you can get right up front. However, I was once told they are season ticket holders who get those seats???
Let me say, we LOVE Sears; however, this review has nothing to do with the company, just the Lancaster Park City location.
We have never had a good experience there, and on our last trip had a sales clerk talk on her Cell Phone while ringing up our purchases. She never once spoke directly to us, even as we paid cash and she gave us change.
They do have everything under the sun here, but getting served takes a lot of patience. We would rather just shop at another location, like when we visit our family out of the area.
This store is so unique; some people will love it, others (like me) will not shop there unless there is a specific reason.
I am plus sized and they do NOT carry a selection of clothing, plus the employees tend to "overlook" me if I am there shopping with a smaller person. The one time that I did try on a dress, I had NO IDEA that the salespeople go into the dressing room to help you try the item on. I was so uncomfortable that I never tried on clothing there again. I guess if you have the money and like that pampering and attention, this is the store for you.
I also feel like I have to dress up just to shop in the home wares area to get any help. My sister found something she liked there and I went in the next day without her to buy it for her Christmas gift. I had trouble getting service and I chalked it up to not having the right purse to match my shoes <grin>. Well I finally got service and then asked about a gift box. She told me to take it to the gift wrapping desk, where they actually charge you to wrap the gift. i just wanted an empty box!
So, try it out, you may find that is your cup of tea, which, by the way, they serve in their French corner restaurant :)
I have loved going to Chocolate World for over 30 years now, and will continue to stop by there when in the area. I am so glad it is still free to get in there!
If you are ever in the area right after Christmas, I have actually gone bargain shopping here for the post-holiday sales. It is great for the little non-chocolate stocking stuffers to get a start on the next year shopping. However, I would not buy chocolate items to save for a year, but of course I am sure that I would eat them myself!
A hot chocolate from the snack bar is a great treat in the winter too!
We went to Hershey Park every summer when I was growing up. However, that was when parking was free and you were able to bring your own picnic lunch to a special pavilion. Those were the days!
The last time I went (as an adult) I was shocked at the idea of having to PAY to park! I have no idea why they started charging, as this is the only attraction within walking distance. It is not like people are parking there and shopping at the local mall. In other words, I didn't think they needed to get that extra money from us.
Of course, then we hit the front gate and paid for the tickets, again $$$$$$. The food was terrible for the prices.
The good part = the rides are great, they had a new ride that everyone wanted to try. The water park was not too crowded, I think due to the new attractions, so we really spent our day in the water area.
Will I go again? Of course! But I will bring more cash and be prepared to give it away :)
