I love to visit the SF zoo. They have a lot to offer. It can be a whole day adveture becuse the space is so big and there are so many different things to see. the best part of the experience is when you get to watch all of teh animals being fed. I also like the pengiun colony because I can never find that at any oher zoo. My little nieces also liked teh children area with the petting zoo. The zoo is a wonderfulplace to visit, but I advise to take Muni or public transportation beacuse parking is so hard. Also, you have to be careful of the weather here. It can get pretty cold, so don't forget a jacket!
A friend recommended me to this bookstore beacuse she always likes to find a good deal. Dog Eared Books is a great place for values on books. The store itself is loctaed in teh beautiful Mission district on Valencia Street. It is not a very large store, but it is packed full with wonderful books. The salesperson was so helpful that he wasn't smothering and allowed me to choose what I wanted. the store is very well orgaized so things are very easy to find. And they always have great values and sale prices. Very fun place to browse and shop.
Very very quirky bookstore. It is very small in size but the ambiance makes up for that. They really do not have a wide selection of books, but the ones that they do offer are wonderful. My favorite part about this bookstore are the nights when we get to read a certain's author;s books. I love to listen to book radings and these readings seem more unique than other bookstores. I hear that they have some nightly jazz, but I have never experienced that yet. But once you go to one of teh readings, you will be pulled in for more.
I went to check out this bookstore because I have heard so many people praise it. It was a nice place to visit. They had a wide varierty of books and such, but I really was not too impressed. I found that it had nothing out of the ordinary than other bokstores. I didn't like the fac that you had to eat elsewhere and then come back to read a good book. My experince there was nothing horrible, but my high expectations were not met.
Overall I had a good experience at this framing store. My mom had bough me a beautiful picture and the frame broke. The salesperson at Cheap Petes was very friendly. He helped me to find the best frame that would match the picture as well as the decor in my home. He was very knowledgable and gave me a wonderful quote. the picture is now absolutely gorgeous. If it wasn;t for his suggestions, I would never have picked a this certain frame. Great customer service and very helpful staff
I absolutely love the California Palace of the legion of Honor. The first time that I had to go to this museum was because of a school project and I have been hooked ever since. The location of the musuem is amazing with a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is actually plenty of parking around this musuem beacuse it is nestled deep in the park. What I like most about this musuem is the wide array of exhibits that they offer. Every few months or so, they change exhibits and features. There is always something new to learn at this museum.
One of my cousins was visiting from out of town. She has visited San Francisco numerous times and I wanted to take her somewhere where she has never been.I looked online and found the museum of Russian Culture. Since she is a history buff, I knew she would enjoy it. It was a wonderful place with many new things to learn about. I don't know much about Russian history, but the layout of the museum and all the guides around made it fun and interseting. It was a great new experience. the only downfall is the location, very hard to park. But there is public transportation that will make hings easier.
I attended the University of San Francisco. The eductaion here is absolutely wonderful. The professors are always there to help you since the class sixes are not so large. The students here are very welcome and open. The campus is sooo beautiful. They are now remodling a few of teh older buildings which I am sure are just going to enhance the look of the campus. All the offices are very helpful especially the Bursar's office. The only downfall to this great eduction is that USF is expensive.. something like 25 thousand a year for tution. But they do offer a great deal of financial aid. They also have an excellent gym and fitnes center. I still use these facilities as an alumni. Wonderful school. Wonderful experience!!
PROS: great education; beautiful campus; great facilities
I took my niece to the Xxcel Learning Center to get help in a few of her school subjects. I was very impressed. The tutor that was assigned to her was very knowledgable. He was able to help her understand all the difficulties that she was having. The environment is very friendly to learning. The staff members rae so laid back and they are willing to put in a great effort to help. I highly recommend this place for extra help in school work. It was wonderful.
PROS: great environment
The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts is a great way for young adults to learn to express themselves in a safe caring environment. This center offers alot of art programs to children that would otherwise not get this type of expore. Their reading and art programs are the best. And their music program inspires young creative. Its very afforable and a perfect way to be inspired.
