I made a mistake once and went into the Wax Musuem just out of curiosity. I was not at al impressed. It was kind of creepy actually to see all these statues. Some of them resembld who they were supposed to and others were downright off. I think this is just meant to steal money from tourists. There is nothing fun about this musuem. What a waste of money!!
I only really learned about this museum when I attended a wedding that was held there. I grew up in San Francisco and missed out on such an amazing place. After th ewedding, I went back to visit. It is located right near Ghiradelli Square. Most everything inside is taken care of by volunteers. Its a great way to learn about history. Highly recommended and very beautiful.
I love the Exploratorium!! Even though I wasn't much of a physics fan back in school, this place is the best. There are so many exhibits to look at. And the best part about the exploratorium is that almost everything is a hands on expereince. Thats what makes this place unique and interesting. I would recommend this place for all people. You learn alot and have fun too.
Great great museum. I love the exhibits here. the are so informative yet you don't feel like you are pressure to learn. Its a great place to take the kids for a fun afternoon. Hovever the parking situation here is horrible, especially on weeknds. It took us 45minutes to find a space. If you can take public transportation, it would be the best.
This is where my husband and I decided to take our wedding pictures. At first I was hesitant beacsue i thought it would be cold, but it didn't matter. The scenery here is so beautiful. I am glad that we decided to take our pictures here. Now we have an excuse every time to visit and remember taht special day. Excellent!!
This Museum is not just for children, but more so than adults. I have heard alot abot this musuem, but everything that I heard still did not do it justice. I was competely amazed. I did not want to leave until I went through the entire museum. l loved watching old commercials. And they had perfect seatings which really made you feel like a kid. Its very cheap and well worth spending a day there. It is a fascinating place!!
I grew up in the Sunset area and alot of Asaian Americans live in this area. I was not able to learn too much about Asain art in school, so this compensted for my lack of knowledge. I love the art exhibits that they have. i also love when the feature certain works from certain areas. And of course, if you can not afford to go, it is free the 1st Wednesday of every month. Its well worth it even to pay!
I love the saturaday classes that they offer to children. The children are able to make their own crafts. They have so much fun and learn to use their imagination. Then they can go lratn about all the different animals. My niece especially liked the rabbits, beacuse you can not see rabbits at the zoo. Overall, it was a great learning experience. Those Saturday classes are really the best.
I attended the Fort Mason Center on a field trip with my niece. It was a wonderful expereince. we learned so much about world war 2. ee even were able to see th ebunkers that they used and the cannons that they had. It was truly amazing. I would definitely visit there again outside the school fied trip. So much history and so much culture. Its really amazing.
This is the perfect place for a musuem to be located...right next to the Golden Gate Bridge. the view is amazing. I love the Legion of Honor. I like it when they feature special atrists in their time area. Such rich culture. You never know what to expect whenyou visit this museum. It always has such beautifil art. And the gift shop is not too pricey compared to some. Definitely one of the best places in the city.
