Le Joaillier Fine Jewelry
This shop has amazing quality merchandise that is beautiful and well made - but also very expensive. If you are looking for a really special gift and can afford it, this is the place to go as their jewelry rivals Tiffanys, Cartier etc. The owner can sometimes be difficult (Except when you are spending money), so watch out for his moods. The location in the Plaza shops is a nice one and parking is usually available.
Smith Jewelers
This store is located off the main road into town (route 106). The selection of items is OK and nothing special, but will do in a pinch. Their real asset is the employees who are so nice and try to accomodate yoru requests. They have even dropped everything to change my watch battery during my lunch break and their price to do so was less than most jewelers. Try them out!
Anthony Jewelers
This store, centrally located in town, may not have the biggest or best selection of items, but they fulfill many needs when you require a last minute gift. Their real specialty is service and they cannot be more accomodating! They are also great for repairs and changing watch batteries. Parking is usually available right in front of the store.
Gemport Corporation
Every trip to this store is an adventure because you don't know what interesting thing you will see. Besides a vast array of jewlery, they also carry very interesting gift items which are usually unique and not found elsewhere. Their jewelry items include precious as well as semi-precious stones which are set in different metals or you can purchase loose stones. They can do appraisals, repairs and even make custom jewelry items.
The Milleridge Inn
This bakery is located adjacent to the Milleridge Inn, very good restaurant. The bakery is one of several shops in a small "village" and it is fun to go there as part of the entire dining/shopping experience. Their products are tasty but not up to the same quality as a bakery - or at least those in the area. If you are dining at the restaurant, go a spart of the experience after your meal.
The Bakery
This bakery carries a complete range of baked goods catering during certain times of the year to their Jewish customers. They carry breads as well as cakes and cookies and will even bake a custom cake for special occasions. Their stuff is delicious! The staff is not always the friendliest and the parking lot is usually a zoo so it is best to go as early in the day as possible. Sometimes annoying but worth the trip.
Cardinali Bakery III
This bakery offers an amazing range of baked goods. You literally start drooling when you enter the store. They have wonderful home made breads as well as beautiful little custard tarts topped with fruit. Everything is very appealing and the store is immaculately clean. If you can't wait to taste something until you get home, they also have a little "cafe" where you can get a drink (expresso, coffee etc) and eat right there.
Total Nutrition Inc
This store has a really good selection of vitamins from many different manufacturers and is open during a wide range of hours which is great for working people. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the products they carry and can offer recommendations. Their prices are very fair and each receipt has a "coupon" towards future use. Save your receipts and you can get free vitamins. Easy location to get to and ample parking.
Gabby's Gourmet Bagels
This bagel store has a great selection of items ranging from salads to wraps to bagel sandwiches. They also do breakfasts and catering. It is convenient to run in and pcik up a ready made item from their refidgerator case when you are in a hurry. Everything is always fresh and delicious! Parking can be a problem especially on weekends when the shopping center is very busy.
A YARN GARDEN
While this store carries a good selection of yarns and other knitting supplies, I go there under extreme duress if I really need something and can not get it elsewhere. The people are not very friendly or helpful and seem only to want to please their regular customers. The store is somewhat dark and cramped which isn;t conducive to comfortable shopping. Located in a small strip store mall, the parking is also difficult as times.
