Fry's has everything from cds to dvds to washing machines, fridges, tvs, stereos, computers....
They have an awesome selection, and a lot of rare dvds. If you go for a sale, the prices are great. Normally, they are average. There is a little cafe in the middle, which serves some yummy food (when you work up an appetite looking at all the stuff). The staff is very helpful. They can get really busy, though, so it might be hard to find someone to help.
Lees has a great selection of wine, beer, hard stuff, and cigars. The staff is friendly, and pretty helpful. The prices are great. The store is clean, and there is plenty of parking.
This is the place to go if you are looking for gift ideas, or home decorating ideas. There is a huge selection of home decor, furniture, and collectibles from all over the world. There is also a huge selection of kitchen gadgets and gizmos, and a food section full of yummy snacks and desserts. If you are into wine, this is the place to go. They have a HUGE selection of wines from all over, and some interesting beer, as well. the staff is helpful, and the store is very clean.
There is not a bad seat in the house, when seeing a concert. The pit is right up against the stage, and there aren't too many seats, so you always have a great view. There are cocktail waitresses, too, which is awesome. You don't ever have to leave your seat.
This store advertises its huge selections, and great values. Neither is true. There is not much to choose from, and everything is way overpriced. The sales people try too hard, and they make you feel like you are doing something wrong when you ask them to leave you alone. I would not recommend this place, even when they are having a "sale."
This mall is great for shopping, or just for walking (exercise). There are lots of different types of stores, a food court with variety, kiddie rides, and a play area for the kids, right in the middle. I take my kids to see santa here. It is clean, and in a nice area. They even have nursing rooms by the bathrooms, if you are breastfeeding.
I was not very impressed by the boulevard mall. It is a little confusing to get around, because it is almost U shape. You have to cut through the middle to get to the other side. A little weird. Most of the stores are clothing shops, which all seem to have the same things. It is also a little shady. It isn't in the greatest part of town.
This pet store is really cool. They have everything from puppies and kittens, to rabbits and guinea pigs, to snakes, frogs, fish...and even monkeys, and something called a plains viscacha (it looks like a cross between a beaver and a raccoon). The puppies were a little over priced, but they have a huge selection. If you are looking for a rare snake, or are starting a fish tank, this is the place to come. It seemed fairly clean, just a little over crowded.
We took our 2 year old son here, and had a blast. It's a little warm inside, especially once you get going, but it is super fun. This isn't a place to spend all day, (our son was pooped by 45 minutes) but it is a good way to kill an hour or so. We will definitely go back. They are open till midnight, so try to go once the sun has gone down (that way it isnt so hot inside).
We had our daughter five weeks early, and found we had nothing for her to wear. On the way home from the hospital, we stopped at babies r us, thinking they would have preemie outfits. We looked and looked, and finally found the "preemie section," one rack. The rack was full, but there were only 3 different outfits, so we had to buy doubles in order for her to have enough for a week. They were VERY expensive, too. We bought six sleepers, and a dress, and it was over $250.
