The Rampart is a fun place to hang out on the weekend. It has some REALLY good restaurants, and a 24 hour cafe, with really good food. The casino is a little small, but has a nice variety. The staff is really great, too.
We stayed here one night, and had a good time, even though the casino is itty-bitty. The Sahara has a nice coffee shop, and the food at the cafe was pretty good. They also have a fun roller coaster. The room was clean, but nothing fancy. Get an upper room, and you have a nice view.
If you are looking for a smoke shop with a nice staff, and reasonable prices, you should try this one out. They have a great selection of cigarettes, cigars, "smoking accessories," incense, mugs, etc. They are in the shopping center with the Albertson's, right by 95.
This music store is awesome. They have a great selection of new and used cds and dvds. The new cds are kind of overpriced, but the used stuff is very fairly priced, and in great condition. The staff is really nice, and will help you out if you need it. They also have a billboard where you can leave your cards, flyers, etc, and/or find out what's going on around town (underground-ish).
If you are looking for newer comics and anime, this is the place to go. Trendy, but not too pretentious, this comic book store has a great selection of more "adult" comics. This place is right across from UNLV...if you are looking for fun tee shirts, bumper stickers, etc...come here.
I recently took my 2 year old here to go swimming. We both had a blast. They have an outdoor water park, complete with wading pool, with a mini waterslide, buckets that dump on your head, and fountains to play in. For the older kids, there is a huge waterslide, and there is also a lap pool. It's really cheap to get in ($3 for adults, $2 for kids), and you can stay all day!
I went here right after my son was born, hoping to find some great deals on some cute clothes. Much to my dismay, most things were overpriced, the selection was limited, and the place was really small. If you want cute clothes in good condition for a low price, you'd have better luck at a thrift store. The staff was a little standoffish, as well. Not the greatest experience.
We took my two year old here, and were not too impressed. Steve N Kids is basically a big playroom, complete with a bouncer, and a Care Bear that sings and dances. Looked good to me...unfortunately, a lot of the toys didn't work, the bouncer was overtaken by six year olds (a little rough), and it was expensive to get in.
We recently refinanced. I did a lot of research, and talked to a lot of people, most of whom were just trying to make money off me. I finally found Scott. He wasn't pushy, and was extremely honest. He explained everything to me BEFORE he made me sign anything, and even called after our loan closed to make sure it went how expected. Looking for a good loan consultant? Give him a call!
We went to buy a saturn in august 2003. We had heard such good things, and were looking forward to not spending all day in the car dealership. We picked out our car, signed the paperwork, and then, something happened. We aren't sure what, but we were left sitting there for hours. Everything was fine up until then, and we haven't had any problems with the car, but we just couldn't understand what was going on, and we couldn't get a straight answer.
