Sammy's Woodfired Pizza
From the outside, it looks like a very nice place, and even the inside is decorated good. However, I felt that their pizza was not the greatest I have ever had..as a matter of fact, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would have to say it was a 3 or 4. I did not care for their sauce or types of pizza they had, and they only carry 1 size pizza. There are no larges, no mediums..all pretty much personal size. And they charge what any other pizza establishement would charge for an 18" pie. Very over priced..
Rite Aid
With friendly staff, they were there to answer our questions regarding prescriptions we were having filled. They went over everything we needed to know. Compassionate. Store was extremely clean, wide isles and easy to find shelved items. Always running specials on in store items. Even have a small ice cream parlor inside. So, not only can you get your meds there when you don't feel good, but can get an ice cream cone to help you feel better.
De Nault's True Value Hardware
Small insize, yet their selection of items is wonderful. From nuts and bolts to hardware, tools and even houseware decorations and plants. Friendly cashiers, and store is clean with large isles. Even when you cannot find something, the staff is right there to show you where it is, instead of just telling you.
PETSMART
With tons of items for both your cat and dog, they also sell supplies for fish, birds and even horse supplies. Huge selections of foods, from the inexpensive but good, to the more pricey, depending onwhat yo are feeding your pets. Loads of toys and chewies, this place has everything. The staff is courteous and smart, and the store is extremely clean. I recommend this place for all your pet needs.
Old Town
We really enjoy here. From the restaurants to the little shops, there is quite a bit to see and do here. The Mormon Fort is a terrific place also to visit and watch a film. There is a coffee shoppe that sells coffee from all different parts of the world, candy shop that makes their own taffy to museums and cultural information. Also has a nice selection of shirts and mexican blankets etc., for gifts I did not feel were expensive. Parking on the weekend can be a little hectic, unless you take the Coaster. You can also go on a trolly ride for a nominal fee that takes you on a tour of Old Town. I believe it lasts about 3 hours. This is a nice place to visit, and to walk around is absolutly free.
Bonnie Springs Motel
Believe it or not, this is a relaxing place to stay overnight. Small, but unique in its own way, it give you something to do rather than gamble. The rooms are large and are all themed, from western to tropical. You chose which one you want. Prices for themed rooms are around $120 for the night. Which includes a morning horse back ride with a guide and a free breakfast afterwards in their restaurant. Also surrounding the motel is their park with animals and western shoot-out shows that are free to the ones staying the night, gift shops etc. Granted, this is not the Ritz Carlton in no way, but a nice change from the typical "strip" and casino hotels with smoky areas and machines wanting to take your money. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The restaurant for supper is a little pricy.
A J's Music & Vintage Guitars
The store is small, but nice and has a large selction of guitars and music books, however 3 times I was in there, two of the times I found it difficult to get "attention" to my questions I had before purchasing an item. I got the feeling from them that I should HAVE KNOWN myself, instead of asking, almost as if I was bothering them, when all they were doinf was sitting behind the counter chit chatting anyways. The stuff I have bought from here, have held up and were of good quality, I just wish the help would have been alittle more customer service friendly, especially when we all don't know everything about music.
Giacoletti Music & Giacoletti
We went into this store and enjoyed it, the staff was helpful as we were buying an amp and were not pressured into buying something more expensive. Infact, the salesperson leaned more towards the least expensive one that suited our needs. They were also helpful in finding the books we were looking for and their prices were extremely reasonable.
Savers
Way out of line..so over priced it is not funny. Jeans that are worn and can definatly see they were used, they are selling them for $15.00 per pair, shoes I have seen from $7.00 to 15 bucks as well. This is ludicrist, for one, this is suppose to be a "thrift" store for people who are less fortunate. I have seen better prices at Robinson Mays on clearance. No lie. Secondly, everything this store gets in their doors comes from Big Brothers Big Sisters. A reason why I stopped donating to them, because I knew it was going to Savers where they were going to jack these crazy prices on items. I started donating all my stuff to a local church instead. This place is a total rip-off.
Ralphs
I went here once, once too many. The parking lot in the middle of the afternoon had homeless people wandering around and it did not get any better in the front of the store where the carts were. Homeless people everywhere, sitting by the front door, literally blocking you from getting in. And they werent moving. Drinking bottles in paper bags, and panhandling for money before you even entered. Only good thing was once inside, the store was clean & large. Bad thing..you knew you had to once gain contend with the bums outside the store. Even husband said.."never again".
