Always a sucker for a good massage, I tried this place out because a friend highly recommended the Stone Therapy. For a sixty minute, $75 massage, I was completely overwhelmed by the wonderful job, Suzanne herself did. IN those sixty minutes, my back felt about a million times better than it did going in. Use her, she is awesome and very nice!
For the amount of money that a massage costs in this spa, you would think that it would not hurt as it did. The atmosphere is very nice, don?t get me wrong. The place is fully equipped with hot tubs, lockers, big screen TV, etc. After the slightly painful massage, the man tried to sell me some products. I graciously said no, but I don?t think I will be going back.
A relative of mine got me a gift card for Sun Spa, and I was thinking woo hoo! But, really, after what seemed like an hour of painful pushing, prodding, and me squeezing my face together out of agony, I really could not wait for it to be over. When it was done, she looked at me with a huge smile, and I had to tell her ?that hurt.? She left the room and I never saw her again.
I have been here a few times, once to see Erasure and another time to see Esthero. Both times were very fun, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. When I went to see Esthero, there were tables set up for the acoustic set, in order to show a lounge type of aura. Drinks are cheap as well!
I went in here with a friend at the last minute. We were in a hurry, and needed some quick beauty products. This place seems to cater more to upscale older women, one who do not look like women in their twenties anymore, and I mean that in the nicest way possible.
Mr. Moon himself, who is often standing behind the counters making sure you are getting the full assistance you need, is someone you will become instance friends with. The first time you walk into this always busy shop, Mr. Moon will not recognize you, and will hand you a fifty dollar gift certificate for next time. Great service and a great price. One thing...they lost one of my fiance's shirts, but gave him a $50 credit because that is how much the shirt was.
This small grocery store carries everything from cute hand bags to high end wines and beers that you can?t find anywhere else. They also have organic cleaning products, elegant shaped pastas and a variety of rare spices, which can compliment any of the other sauces and food items the shop sells. There are even makeup items and eco-safe household products.
It's hard to believe that one small shop can sell nothing but olive oils, but you'd be surprised that this shop can pull it off. McEvoy Ranch sells organic olive oils used for dipping and cooking. The flavors tastes so fresh, that you quickly become addicted to the flavors. You can also sample the flavors with the bread they offer. I love this shop!
I love this candle kiosk for a few reasons. One, the person who works there will try best to match exactly what you need. I needed to but a wedding gift, and she wrapped a beautiful basket together full of vanilla, rose, and peach scented candles. These candles last forever, and make the house smell you stepped into a garden.
You are not going to see this sexy, kitschy bar at first; it is located in an alley at the end. When you walk into John Colins, the scene is a relaxed one, with semi-loud music blaring on the back. There are pictures of pit bulls on the walls, and a screen projector showing surfing and skateboarding films. The scene is eclectic, it gets the after work crowd. The bartenders are very nice, and the atmosphere is fun, but still mature enough to NOT be a club. I highly recommend this for after work when you just want to relax with your friends!
