Colorado Ocean Journey
We love Colorado Ocean Journey. There are so many things to see and do. They have local fish all the way to sharks (and 2 tigers). They have a tank where you can pet the rays. It isn't just that you can see lots of different fish. The atmosphere is so detailed. It makes for a great experience.
PROS: Atmosphere, variety
CONS: a little expensive, unless you have a coupon
Denver Zoo
This zoo may not be as big as San Diego, but it is awesome. It is easy to get around. The prices are fair. The season passes are great deals, and parking is free! Most of all the atmosphere is fun. They have put a lot of care into how they house the animals. It not only helps the animals, but makes the experience a lot more fun for the visitors. Don't visit Denver with kids and miss the zoo!!!
PROS: Free parking, low prices, beautiful zoo
CONS:
The Home Depot
We love our Home Depot. The staff is so friendly. Those in the paint department and the garden department have given me so much great advise, since buying our new home. The prices are good too.
PROS: Helpful, friendly, knowledgable, convenient
CONS:
Star Nursery Inc
The plants are not expensive. The people are very helpful. I had no idea what to plant here, and one guy walked around helping me choose, based on my needs. He also gave me tips for planting the things I bought!
PROS: Helpful employees, great selection
CONS:
Mark Rich's New York Pizza
This is a small restaurant. We tried an appetizer and were pretty sure you could get something similiar in the frozen section of the grocery store. The pizza wasn't that great. In fact we took the leftovers to my husbands office, and nobody took any. The worst part was the bill we paid. $50+tip for 2 adults and 2 kids under 5yrs. All for one med pizza, a small appetizer, and 4 sodas. The only nice part of the dinner was the owner who walked around socializing with everyone. He is a nice guy.
PROS:
CONS: too much $, food is OK
