Great place ot be if you like live music! Located in a shopping center off of Appian Way so they have plenty of parking spaces available. Good crowd and good music. I found out about the place when I was in the parking lot late night chatting with a friend and heard the live music playing from there. It was good so we went in and had a few drinks. Service is great!
Villa
This place is down the street from where I live and they're always closed early. I don't even see them open late during the weekends! I'm talking about 11pm! I went in there once and as soon as I open door I saw one pool table on the right with no one playing. Then I looked to my left and saw a whole bunch of old guys sitting on stools that looked at me as if they saw a ghost. Yes, I left after that and didn't even bother.
Coconut Grove
Teeters Sportsbar is a pretty cool place to be at night or on the weekends. They have a good crowd and parking is available in the lot or on the street close by. One thing I like about this place is the pool tables! You can always get a game with a friendly and have a good time!
Blakes On Telegraph
Cool spot to be on the weekends and during the night scene. Although Telegraph is one of the wildest streets in Berkeley with all sorts of things happening, it makes Blakes a good place to visit. Good crowd and they have live bands!!! Pretty cool place, but watch out for all the UCB students packing the scene up.
Broken Drum Brewery
Located on one of the busiest and livest streets in San Rafael. Broken Drum Brewery is one place you have to check out and try they're beer! Its a huge class for a few bucks and will get you where you want to be in minutes after your first sip!
Amf Pinole Valley Lanes
Pinole Valley Pro Shop is located right in front of the AMF Bowling Alley. It's also located right off the Pinole Valley exit which is convenient for people who have to take the freeway to get here. They have a good supply of what you need from bowling gloves to bowling ball cases. Good service too and parking is always available.
Cow Palace
Cow Palace holds a lot of special events like Disney on Ice to Import Car Shows. I've gone here countless of times and never had a bad time. They used to have a drive in but I think they closed that part down. They had the old speakers where you would have to put that in your car to hear the audio when you watch your movies.
Serramonte Pet Shop
Great location for this pet shop. It's located in the mall and right by the entrance too! Although they don't have that much of a selection because of the wide range of pets, carry most of your basic pet needs. I used to live in Daly City and always shopped at Serramonte, so this pet shop was very convenient for me.
Wax Museum At Fisherman's Whf
If you want to see some stuff that looks cool or that will give you nightmares visit the Museum Wax Entertainment Complex. They have wax people of celebrities to hollywood horror movie killers. Good place to scare the kids but I don't recommend doing that. Teens would like it and it's something to see out fo the ordinary.
Lucky Chances
Lucky Chances Casino is located right across from a cemetary which I thought was a little wierd. But once you get inside you immediately see all the action! I'm not much of a gambler so I just go there with friends to play around. One thing I also reccomend is eating at their restaurant. They have great food!!
