I needed work done and avoided the dentist whenever possible due to severe phobia. I phoned this office after being turned away by half a dozen other dentists who didn't want to deal with me. Mascoma Dental fit me in quickly and were ultra understanding of my fears. They welcomed my husband to come in with me, explained everything they would do and most importantly, the dentist was very gentle injecting the novacaine which makes the WORLD of difference!! He knew that my phobia had to do partially with fear of pain and was very conscious of that during the proceedures. They understood I didn't have insurance and worked with me on the payments. I can't say enough good things about these kind folks and dentists.
PROS: Compassionate, understanding, accomodating
Kayak Country has days throughout the season where they give demonstrations on the river, plus they have great sales on used kayaks and new ones. They are really convenient to get to, right on Route 11 in Andover, NH. Plenty of parking and really nice people to deal with. They know their stuff concerning the sport and are a great source of information for the "newbie" to the world of kayaking.
Purchased a home 5 years ago in NH. My sister-in-law lived close to Concord and I accompanied her to this shop for her own wallpaper purchase. I found so much I liked and the staff was so helpful, I ordered wallpaper for every room in my home from them even though there were other shops closer to where I live. Very pleased with Capitol Paint & Wallpaper.
Purchased a garden tractor, snow blower and power washer from Rowells (the tractor was first, the others came because I was pleased with them concerning the tractor sale). They have always been nice to deal with, willing to give advice and answer questions and provide professional service and maintenance. I would deal with them for any other power equipment needs I might have.
Action Garage Door was the subcontractor on a garage/family room addition project we did. They were courteous, on-time, very professional and did a great job. We were very pleased with their work and that it was done right the first time which you don't often find anymore.
If it has to do with lamps, they have it. They also have a division for finials. The Lamp Shop has lamp bases, shades, kits, books, tools, just about anything you need to repair a lamp or make your own. They have lampshire making supplies and do wholesale and retail. They have a great website, too.
If you want quality items which are not only functional but beautiful, I think you'll find them here. The clothing is nicely made and they have gorgeous blankets. There are sales before the Holidays, easy parking and very convenient to get to.
This store is an eclectic mix of items, many featuring local NH artists. They have fun events like meet the artist night and special shopping nights for the Holidays. They are located in an easy-to-find location on the Main Street of New London. A small shop loaded with very interesting items, not a run-of-the-mill tourist trap.
The counter people were very helpful giving us DIY tips concerning our tile job for a family room. They recommended the proper grout and other supplies. We looked at a lot of tile but found what we wanted immediately upon walking in the door. The prices were reasonable and the quality and service beats places like Home Depot by a mile. You purchase and then drive around to load up. The gentlemen who helped at the loading dock was very nice and courteous. A pleasant tile buying experience and we came away feeling we had the knowledge to do the job right.
Nice selection of fabrics. Many displays of sample with patterns clipped onto them making it easy to purchase the material necessary to re-create them. Used to be on the second floor of the building, but have now moved to the first floor. Easy and plentiful parking and convenient hours. Prices are reasonable. They also have several classes running all the time.
