Pacific Food Market offers a wide variety of Asian related products, and keep there store fairly clean for an Asian store. Parking is very difficult to come by, and it does get fairly busy in the area. There's a great number of produce to choose from, and the prices are fairly competitive, and a bargain compared to the American supermarket retailers. There one of the better Asian markets on Clement.
Cafe Riggio offers upscale Italian dishes, and a decent wine list. There dishes are pretty good, and the setting is very good. It's a nice small dining environment. The parking is non existent, and there's not a lot of room for privacy. It's worth a look to try Cafe Riggio if your in the area.
Sullivan Sport & Ski Shop is a great place to get recommendation on sporting equipment and goods. There prices are a bit expensive compared to the larger sporting good stores, however you are getting in return a very knowledgeable staff, and just a more enjoyable feeling. They have very quality ski equipment for sale, and there is plenty to enjoy in there store. Parking is difficult to come by, but its worth a look to stop by.
Located near the Geary Mall, the Hobby Company of San Francisco, offers a wide variety of hobby projects to get involved in. They have RC cars, and boats, while very expensive, if you can afford it make a great project for yourself, or the little kids. The store just has a tremendous amount of thought, and great to stop by instead of going to Wal-Mart for your creative fix.
Francisco Middle school located near North Beach, has it's shortfalls and its positives. If you have kids that are just starting out the transition from elementary, you should be a bit weary if there a bit timid or shy. They maybe put through some evaluation to see if they have some sort of disorder. It's not a pleasant experience. The teachers are also a bit aversive, and not very approachable. Primary due to the environment being some what catered to low income students, that seems to foster the type of negative vibe throughout the school. There wood shop program is great however.
Roosevelt Middle school is a very homely school, as there is also a number of local transaction for your kids to take if you can't drop them off from work. The area has fairly heavy traffic, so use caution when crossing the street. There academics has fallen a bit from its heyday, however its not one of the worst in the city. They've just seem to regressed some due to the programs being implemented.
Balboa Cleaners is a nice little cleaner shop that offers competitive rates, and have good clean facility for your cleaning needs. The staff is really nice, and very pleasant to be around even when you have to clean your dirty laundry.
The 25th & Clement Produce market, has been opened there for a while, and I wholly recommend them. There boss takes great pride in providing the best produce possible. They've got a great staff, and the store feels very homely. There fruits are also decently priced.
This is a great place to shop for your fish supply needs. There are a variety of rare fishes, and plants available for sale, and one of the most unique collection of fish in San Francisco. The store feels cramped, but the with the wide selection of fish, it's a real treat to come to the store and see for yourself.
There one of the larger card and comic stores in San Francisco. They offer a wide selection of cards, and have a decent collection of comics. They also sell little toy sports figures such as LeBron James that make a decent gift for any kid. The staff are extremely nice, and pleasant to deal with. And the store is overall clean.
