4 Paws Only

I usually use another groomer, but she wasn't available and unfortunately I couldn't wait till she was. So I called around and the only one that could fit my babies in on my hectic timeframe was 4 Paws Only. The groomer was very nice, and took the time to get to know my dogs, which made me feel better about having to put them in a new situation like this. The prices were quite a bit higher than I usually pay, so I probably won't be using them on a regular basis, but the quality of care was very good.

The Style Shoppe

I decided it was time for a little change and choose to cut and color my hair in something new. I called around for prices as I have very long hair and The Style Shoppe was the lowest. They got me an appointment for the next day and when I went in they took alot of time helping me choose my new color and style. The stylists were friendly and answered all my questions. I will definately be returning because they really did a world class job and I love my new look.

Nix Auto Body

I recently bought a car from a friend who had a small mishap which left the bumper with marks. I took my car to Nix Autobody, and had them give me an estimate to repair the damage. I was pleasantly surprised at the low price they quoted me, and made an appointment. They did a wonderful job of removing the marks and you can't even tell there were any there unless you know exactly where to look. I was very happy with the service and the prices here.

Fox John M Dds

I recently had to have a tooth removed, and since I don't have insurance I paid out of my own pocket. The work here was good, and the people were very friendly, but I have since found out that it cost me quite a bit more than it would have at other practictioners in the area. I do need to more wisdom teeth removed, but I will be looking elsewhere due to the costs.

Central Hair & Nails

I had my hair trimmed when we went down to visit family and decided at the last minute to get a professional family portrait done. The stylist are friendly and do an excellent job at following your specific requests. The prices are GREAT and they got me in at the last minute before closing. I would definately use them again in the future.

Special F X

Special F X in Albany has a very large selection of high quality womens clothing. The prices are about average for the items they carry, but the staff is always so friendly I can't help but stop when I'm in the area. I usually find several items for myself and those people on my gift lists.

Rainbow Shops

I try to stop in at Rainbow Apparel whenever I'm in the local area. They have excellent quality items at super low prices. The staff is always very friendly and helpful if you're looking for specific items, or items for certain age groups. I always find a few things to pick up as gifts for future occasions when I stop in.

Imperial Pools Inc

Imperial Pools in Latham has a huge selection of pools to choose from. However they are quite a bit more expensive than some of the competition, which has made us look elsewhere for our pool for next summer. The sales staff was friendly and had lots of brochures for us to take hole and show the rest of the family.

Sunshine Pools

When we were scouting prices and styles of pools we stopped here. Sunshine Pools has an excellent selection of predesigned pools, and they also offer custom designs. The cutoms designs are quite a bit more expensive though. The sales people were pleasant and asnwered all of our questions without pressuring us to buy on the spot.

Rollarama Inc

Rollarama In Schenectady is a fun place to take the entire family. They have excelent prices for indoor shaking during the winter months. They also have a snack bar and skate rentals in case you don't have a set of your own. We have family members of all ages and skating abilities and we ALL have fun when we come ehre for the day.
