My daughter attended Junior High and High School in the KISD district. She now attends UT Austin. The quality of teachers and staff at Klein High school are second to none. My daughter was well prepared for college because of her teachers. They cared about their work and their students. Klein Independent School District is the best school district in the Spring, Klein area. The teachers and staff cared about the students and their future. The preparation provided by the school district provided each student the skills to either go on to college, trade school or a career.
Select Cleaners
I took several pieces of clothing in to have dry-cleaned. When I went to pick up the pieces, I paid for the 7 garments. After I paid, I realized that one of the garments had not even been cleaned!!! The black pants were on a hanger but were still wrinkled. I told the girl that checked me out, but she was so rude and disrespectful, I was shaking from the ordeal. I finally received my money and asked for the phone number of the owner. When I got home, I called the owner the number the clerk gave me was invalid. I will never go into that shop again. I do not trust the people that work behind the counter with my clothes.
Dryclean Usa
I have used Dryclean USA for my drycleaning needs for several years. I have never had problems with the quality of work and service. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. The detail that they provide with the customers clothing is better than most of the other cleaners around the area.
The Creative Cutting Team
My adult daughter and I went for a simple haircut (no styling or fuss) and each came away with $40 less in our pockets. My haircut was a trim and I left with it still wet. My daughters hair was longer, but she just needed a trim as well. If you would like to throw money away, then please, make a hair appointment NOW with Creative Cutting Team. I feel the customer is being over-charged for services that are not that impressive. Customers can find better places with better prices when it comes to haircuts.
Critter Fixer Pet Hospital
I have taken my cat and dog(s) to get their shots on Saturday mornings to Critter Fixer. The line is long and the staff (I guess) try to work with each customer. I am not too impressed with the quality of service they perform. Once I overhead the owner raising his voice at one of his staff. He was complaining that the staff (mostly young adults) assisting the customers , were not "pushing" the products offered by the clinic. I feel sometimes that this "herding like cattle" approach is not the best service to offer customers. The discounted prices are not so discounted. I will still give the store a 3-star only because of the convenience of not having to make an appointment on Saturday morning.
Elkin Kennels
I take my maltese to have her groomed at Elkin Kennels. They are always booked on Saturday, so call ahead for an appointment. They are very gentle with my dog and do a fine job on grooming her. I always enjoy the little bandana they tie around my dog's neck. It is so cute. The price is right and the staff are very helpful.
