The Food Pantry is a nice grocery store. Their stores carry a large inventory of food items, produce and baked goods. The Food Pantry is part of the Foodland Grocery Stores located throughout the island. Their cashiers and baggers are very friendly. You will always find what you need such as groceries, sundry items, school supplies to beach supplies. I would recommend shopping at this well stocked store.

The Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden is located in the Kona Field System which is one of the world's great agricultural complexes. This 15-acre Garden is landscaped to reflect the plant life in the Kona area before foreign contact. This is the only garden in Hawaii solely devoted to ethnobotany (a field that combines the study of human culture with the plants that support it). The garden boasts 45 varieties of kalo (taro), which were brought to Hawaii and developed before foreign contact. There are also many varieties of other plants in this Garden. This is a fantastic place to learn about Hawaiian history and culture!
