I did and what a mistake! The pictures probably could have been taken better by my teenage cousin. I was caught up in the day at the time and we had a beautiful July day. Sally didn't even bother to take any posed pictures outside nor did she take ANY posed pictures at all of my husband and I! I specifically asked for my finished pictures to me a satin or matte finish. When they came back they were all done in gloss. They looked like she had them developed at Wal Mart....no it was worse than Wal Mart because I like their developing!
Anyway, I will give her credit, my bridal portraits turned out pretty nice. They looked professional. But the actual wedding pictures were very amature and I would never pay her money to take pictures again.
I trusted Sally with my special day and now my memories are in an amature album with not too much sentimental value. I cry when I look at other peoples wedding pictures!
I recently bought a used Volvo from Twin Pines and I was very happy with their service. I knew what I wanted when I went in as far as pricing and they really worked with me to get what I needed. They gave me an excellent deal on my trade and still knocked some money off of the car that I purchased. They did not seem like they were into playing games liek a lot of car dealers/salesman will do. They were honest right from the start.
Only one word of caution for this dealership. If there is something that you want included in teh deal make sure you get it in writing and have it completed before pick up. There was a scratch in the windshield of the new car that I wanted removed and it was not done. Overall, however I am happy with the dealship and I will go back again.
Although this was a few years ago I still feel the need to write a review about it. I owned an older model Ford and I was having problems with it. I had it at several smaller garages who were unable to remedy the situation. I decided that I would just take it to Stoner and Wade because surely they would be able to find the problem. WRONG! I had it there at least three times. On one of the occaisions it broke down not even a 1/4 mile down the road after they claimed there was nothing wrong with it.
I ended up taking it to another smaller garage who found the problem immediately and fixed it. I would not recomend Stoner and Wade for mechanical services.
It's not very often that you can find a full service gas station these days unless of course your state requires it by law. Even though Abel's is full service their gas prices remain just about the same as other stations in the area. They sell tires at reasonable prices and of course they will put them on for you right in their shop while you wait. In the past the owner has even let me pay for my tires in payments which was very helpful. It shows that he trusts and appreciates his customers. I believe they also do oil changes at their shop.
My husband and I stayed at the Society Hill Sheraton last year when we visited Philadelphia for the weekend. It was the first time I had ever stayed at a full service hotel and I was very happy with the service. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The hotel is located centrally near a lot of the things that we wanted to see on out trip. The staff had no problems answering our questions.
We ordered room service quite a bit while we were there and we were always pleased with the service and the food. I would highly recomend the Society Hill Sheraton if you plan to stay in Philadelphia.
Kennywood Park is my all time favorite amusemnet park. I have to admit that I was slightly disappointed last time I was there because it wasn't exactly the same as I remember from my childhood. It is still a classic park with lots of old charm and tons of history. If you are ever in the Pittsburgh area in teh summer time you should incluse a trip to Kennywwod in your itinerary. I also recomend the video documetary "Kennywood Memories". It will give you a lot of respect for the park and its beginnings.
Hershey Park is a nice, clean amusement park. I have been there several times and I always have tons of fun. They add new rides every year and they have a lot of awesome roller coasters. As with a lot of parks, the costs can be outragous. I think that the admission price could be lowered as well as the cost of food and drinks inside the park. They also should not charge for parking. The do however have ample parking with trams to carry you right to the park.
First Impressions did my hair for a couple different special events in my life including my wedding. They recently moved into a new building just down the street from the old shop. The stylists and receptionists are friendly and they always seem to be having so much fun when they are working. They offer reasonable prices at a convinient location. The only problem that I ever had was that sometimes you have to wait quite a while for an appointment with the stylist of your choice. But that just goes to show that they have really good stylists!
Last year I had to go to Sue Kim to have a dress altered for a wedding. I had recieved a quote from another area tailor and it was double what Sue Kim charged me. She did the work fast and professionally. The price that she charged me for all the work that she did was great. Each time I went in she had me try the dress on in her shop so that she could make the alterations perfect. Any time in teh future that I need something altered I will go to Sue Kim.
I have to admit that I graduated from Solanco and I will do whatever I can so that my children do not have to attend. I cannot speak for the entire district but the high school is not recomended. The administrators only seem to care about sports and other extra activities. They do not genuinely care about their students. They would rather have a problem child drop out of school rather than try to help them. They don't like to deal with students unless they are gifted academically or physically.
