I can't say enough good things about this famer's market. We love to go in and get fresh veggies here. Family Run Business. You can see bees actually making honey in a special window here.
Around Easter you'll find bunnies and baby ducks and chicks for sale.
They do offer candy by the pound. You can also buy plants from here.
In the summertime, they do offer a special rate on some fruits/veggies if you pick them yourself.
We used this company when we were looking to purchase a home. Because of the home inspection, we did not make the purchase. The inspector was very thorough and took about 3 hours to do the inspection. He gave us a print out of his findings and a disk with pictures on it before we left the property. We will definately be using this company again.
This place has been in business for years. The owner is such a nice man and gets his orders out quickly. We use him for our signs at work. His prices can not be beat. He actually has two businesses located here. We go here for all our sign needs. Look for specially marked plaques on the wall - DISCOUNTS!
What an awesome experience it is to view one of these plays. They really take you back in time and make you believe you're there with Noah, Jesus, David, etc. I was able to attend The Psalms of David and the Living Water Theater last month and looking forward to going to The Miracle of Christmas next month. It's great for the entire family. It is kind of pricey and like others posted the discounts are not that much off. You will fall in love with these shows and keep coming back. Be prepared to be blessed!
One of the two oldest Disney Resort Properties - yet widely one of the most popular. We experienced this resort last year after a heavily discounted military rate. We were able to stay in a lagoon view conceirge room. This was AMAZING. We could see the fireworks and the castle from our room. This resort is a bit pricey but the atmosphere can not be beat. It's our 4 year olds favorite resort. The monorail makes life much easier. Also, do not miss the O'hana restuarant. Remember, it means "FAMILY". After 5 years of visiting this by far our family's favorite place for dinner. They also offer a character breakfast. Two great shops and two other restaurants are located here. Nightly turn down service is offered too. Nothing like coming in to a room and finding chocolates on your pillow!
Once you step inside this resort, you will feel that you're at home. Rocking chairs abound inside and out. Whispering Canyon Cafe is excellent home cooking with a lot of crazy antics from the servers. Roaring Forks is a fast counter service. The pools are awesome. Also there is a hot tub located near the quiet pool. Also a nightly light show on the water comes by around 9:45. If you're going to Magic Kingdom, take the boat instead of the bus. If this is a place you'll go over year take a picture of the kids by the totem pole in the lobby, you'll be able to see how much they've grown over the years. This is one of the cheapest deluxes that Disney has to offer.
This is the only Moderate we've stayed at on DIsney Property. We were this month (Oct. 2005) and our family had a wonderful time. Great Maid Service.
We ate at the Pepper Market which is there FOOD COURT. Prices are kind of high but good quality. They also add a 10% surcharge to cover a small tip. The other upscale restaurant is Maya Grill. You won't be disappointed in this one. Wonderful chef selections that you can't find anywhere else. Very unique. The gift shop here is HUGE. So if you forgot any of those last minute items inside of the park, you can probably find it here.
PROS: DISNEY - NEED I SAY MORE
CONS: NO MONORAIL SERVICE
This resort is located near the Magic Kingdom. We've stayed here twice in the past year and a half. The rooms are oversized compared to Disney property resorts and cost a lot less. (No mickey soap though). The restuarants offer gourmet quality food at very reasonable prices. Last time we were there, there was a sketch artist in the lobby and we had him sketch our daughter. His work was amazing. Transportation from here is decent but we walked to the Polynesian Resort and got on the monorail - SHH, that's our little secret.
We weren't overly impressed with this amusement park. If we're doing a local park, we prefer Kings Dominion.
The rides here are not the best and the park is not up to par. Could always use a coat of paint. Eating places are limited.
I feel that this park would be great if they put money back into the park. It's to crowded and located in a high crime area. The only good thing is your season pass will get you into other Six Flags parks.
The store is packed to the max, which makes it difficult getting around. Fresh butcher cuts of meat and an awesome deli await you inside. You'll find things here that your average grocery store does not carry. Also look for specially marked "Nick's" products. The deli also makes subs to go. My favorites are the Porky's and the Chicken Salad. You need to have a Nick's Shoppers Card on file to write a check here. They also have another location in Waldorf, Maryland. Give this small store a look inside and you won't be disappointed.
PROS: Carries most things other stores don't have.
CONS: Closes early.
