Two Cousins is right on Manheim Pike in East Petersburg. It's easy to get in and out of with a big parking lot. They even have a drive thru window if you don't want to go inside to get your order. We love their chicken cheese steak and chicken parm subs and we especially love their specialty pizza. We've never gotten a bad thing once and we've been going here for over a year.
Detwiler's staff is friendly and knowledgable. They are reasonably priced and I am always happy with my hair when I leave. They have adorable baby items in the front of the salon for sale along with great jewelry, accessories and specialty items. I would highly recommend visiting Detwiler's, especially Rick, for a hair cut. They are easy to find on Columbia Ave with easy parking.
PROS: Location, Personality of Staff
My family has had Matt Conner as an Insurance Agent for years. He's been so wonderful to work with and has gone out of his way for us. He was great to work with when I was married and wanted to switch my husbands insurance from another agent to his.
Easy location to get to and they always answer your questions in a timely manner.
A few years back my family pet was not only old, but getting very sick. When he started doing weird things and seemed sick, we took him to Neffsville Vet. We were not happy when the vet suggested putting him to sleep. It was so hard for the family since he was around for over 10 years. But the vet had no sympathy for the situation and you'd think he'd have more of a heart for that. We were so depressed and disappointed and would not recommend them. It could have been one of the vets bad days, but it was worse for us.
My husband and I have gone here the past 3 years with friends of ours and always enjoy ourselves. There are so many shows to see, shops to visit and my husband's favorite part, the food! It's amazing to see how many people dress up even though they don't work there. I love how you can taste the wine, buy it and pick it up on your way out. It's fun to get there when it just opens so you know the story of the day about the queen. Make sure you visit the Mud Pit, it's hilarious.
I had to find a baker a month before my wedding since my previous baker fell through. Rebecca met with us and was very kind and knew a lot about cakes and decorations. She walked us through our options and made us a mini cake that she thought would go great with my wedding colors. She was right! We got a black/white cake from her with Belgian Chocolate filing. It tasted sooo good! My family even bought my bridal shower cake from her, she also makes wonderful cinnamon streusel cakes. I've never had anything that tasted bad from her. I would use her for any family function we needed a cake for!
She's located in downtown Ephrata and the parking isn't that hard to find. We went in the evening and found a spot in front.
I had taken my dog here to get bathed, brushed and her nails clipped. I came back to get her when they told me to. Her nails were not done and she was still drying. They even asked me to go back with them to help them cut her nails! Then when I got her home I realized they never bothered to brush her. If they're going to charge their high prices, they should at least do everything they say. I would not recommend them for grooming. I do like their store, they have everything your dog or pet could ever want.
Their parking lot is good but if you catch Red Rose Commons on a busy day, you'll never get out.
Universal has so many classes to take and a ton of cardio equipment. I love their Pilates, great for stretching.Their Body Pump is great if you get there in time to find a spot. Don't go there around 5:30 at night because you will never find a parking spot. I usually go around 4ish or later at night around 7. They have TV's at all the cardio stations and you can bring your own headphones to plug in. They also have a cafe in the lobby where you can buy protein shakes (which are amazing) and all kinds of healthy snacks. There are so many things in this fitness center to keep you in shape and healthy!
PROS: Amount of classes, size of gym, personable staff
CONS: parking after work
I worked with Stacia on the flowers for my wedding. She was very accommodating and super friendly. She knew so much about deliveries to churches and reception halls. She had contacts at all of them so you didn't have to make phone calls to everyone. She even called my church to ask the number of pews and a few other items she needed to know. It was nice that I didn't have to do it. Although she's in downtown Strasburg I've never had a problem with parking.
I've brought all my cars to Firestone for various reasons and have always been pleased. I've purchased new tires from them, had oil changes done and tune ups. If anything is wrong during the service they will call to talk to you about it with out automatically doing it and charging you. They are very knowledgable and are easily located in Lancaster between Oregon and Lititz Pikes.
